Between 2004-2009 a group of friends put on a breaks, electro & eclectic beats party in Bournemouth, Uk. It was called Break da House. From what started as an excuse to play tunes we all loved, it turned into quite a successful night running at various venues. We even hosted a room at Ministry Of Sound!  We welcomed acts such as Stanton Warriors, Dub Pistols, Plump DJs, Freestylers, Killa Kela, Meat Katie, Lee Coombs, Nostalgia 77, A Man Called Adam, Bent, Evil 9, Will Saul, Krafty Kuts, A Skillz, Natural Self, Ali B as well as hosting labels parties for Air Recordings, Westway, Lot 49, Grand Central, Ninja Tunes, Breakin Bread & Upstart Music.

We recently got together again for a party in the town where it all started, Bournemouth in May. The event was a nostalgic trip down memory lane with lots of friendly faces & amazing vibes that felt like the night never went away. It was truly epic...

Here to enhance the party mood even further in the run-up to the big day we have 'Bring On The Brass Vol. 4' by me for day 23 of our awesome advent calendar of music. That's right folks, my annual mixtape that celebrates the spark of joy only brass brings to music is back!

Funk and Disco is once again the order of the day with my mixtape, with a selection of old and new tracks from my collection that I've hunted high and low for to make sure they fit the brass brief. As you'll hear, my hunting has brought great rewards and a fine selection of tracks can be heard from a super-talented crop of producers, many of whom have been featured on LSM several times before. Power Raiders is an all day DJ event where over 14 DJ's perform on Twitch for 1/2 hour, then raid the next DJ. 
Raiding is a feature on Twitch where you can send all your viewers to another streamer, meaning it was a continuous stream of music. This went on from 11am to 12:30am. That's over 12 hours of live DJ's! It featured the talents of:
