Hailing from Hessen, Chris Gruber, aka Fossar, made his mark on Hamburg’s nightlife in the noughties with his unique take on Deep House. He played various roles: resident at the legendary DIY-Partys by Solomun, resident DJ at Baalsaal, A&R for its affiliated label, employee at the renowned record store Underground Solution, and producer with releases on respected platforms such as Diynamic, 8bit Records, Liebe*Detail, Dessous Recordings, Bloop, and Drumpoet Community.

After touring major stages worldwide, he reconnected with Tim Eder in his hometown in 2010. Their very first gig together revealed a shared understanding of House Music, leading them back to smaller, more intimate clubs with ground-level booths and close-knit audiences. The musical exchange through countless back-to-back sets eventually led to the founding of their joint label, Feuilleton, in 2018 - where Chris now performs under his Fossar alias.

With regular guest appearances at Heideglühen (Berlin), Golden Pudel (Hamburg) and releases on Smallville’s sublabel Fuck Reality, Zissou, Stólar, and of course Feuilleton, he remains a vital part of the German House Music scene. Fossar is set to follow up with a string of forthcoming records on renowned labels - stay tuned.

://about blank is a multi-room club by Ostrkeuz S-Bahnhof in Friedrichshain. It's a short walk from Salon Zur Wilde Renate, and like that club, it's a lightly renovated re-purposed building with seemingly endless nooks and crannies. There are two main dance floors inside, one tent outside and in the summer DJs play out in the garden (this is open in the winter too, often with a bonfire going). 

The music policy is open-ended but mostly focused on house and techno, with occasional bass or disco nights. The overall atmosphere is gritty, and the parties often go well into the following afternoon or evening.
