like the sleeping dogs who lie on the farm
or the people who wear the masks to ward away the harm
so unaware of the anger thats carried from with-in
its hard to find directions when your world is in a spin
you got to follow your heart and find the magic eye
you got to keep direction look up to the skys

way back when the world was a different place
we had the time and we had space
but now the pieces are washed up on a shore
we are the drifters fighting lonely wars

moments in life can still feel unreal
when i left the uk and headed to seville
wanna feel the sunlight on my face
sick and tired of drifting in an empty place
theres people and theres actions that never make much sense
they are frightened by the media just sitting on the fence
you got to remember this life is all you get
and everything around you is hanging on an edge

i left my childhood in a maze
