I sometimes play solo but I am also in a band called SHAPESHIFTER.   I use the stage name "Kara-Mia" as there is already a very well known red-headed jazz singer called Karen Anderson in my home town LOL.. Kara-Mia or SHAPESHIFTER have performed for Redfest, the community festival of Redland City in Cleveland, the Gold Coast City Cavill Mall Gigs, The Wynnum Twilight Markets, The Retro Bar in Kenmore, various festivals fetes and fairs, and private functions and we regularly perform in the burgeoning music cafe culture of Brisbane. Performing a mixture of Folk, country and Jazz this versatile solo artist and lead singer for the trio SHAPESHIFTER delight their audience with a witty mix of originals mixed with famous and rare songs that have a groove to make you move.
