Michael Franti is a globally renowned musician, humanitarian, and activist, celebrated for his high-energy live performances, socially conscious music, and unshakable optimism. This album is about taking those emotions—what I experience every day—and turning them into music that reminds us we are never alone.”

To bring this message of connection to life, Franti will embark on the Welcome to the Family Tour, a nationwide summer trek with stops at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Pier 17, and more. Known for his immersive concert experience—where he often performs from the crowd, invites fans on stage, and fosters a true sense of togetherness—each show is more than just a performance; it’s a celebration of unity and positivity.

Beyond music, Franti is the founder of Soulshine Bali, a forty-room, five-star boutique retreat in Ubud, Indonesia, dedicated to wellness, creativity, and human connection. He and his wife also founded Do It For The Love, a nonprofit that grants live music experiences to individuals facing life-threatening illnesses, veterans, and children with severe challenges. Since its inception, the foundation has granted over 3,500 wishes, touching more than 15,000 lives worldwide.

Founded in 1994, Sound Quake from Detmold/Germany is a true veteran to the European Reggae Scene. Since more than 20 years Sound Quake is known for quality juggling and is traveling as an ambassador in the name of reggae. The sound played in clubs and on festivals all over Europe, the UK and Russia as well as in Jamaica.

Sharing stages and rocking crowds with all the heavyweights of sound system history like: Bass Odyssey, Stone Love, David Rodigan, Renaissance Disco, Massive B, Killamanjaro, LP Int., One Love Hi Powa and many more.

Between 1997-2008 Sound Quake was an authority and a top-notch contender on the battlegrounds of the European clash arena collecting a nice amount of trophies over the years. In 2008 the crew decided to not play clashes anymore, but Sound Quake’s dub box is still deep like an ocean and is bringing straight excitement to any dance in the morning hours. 

With 22 years of experience on international stages, Sound Quake is rocking any crowd spreading Caribbean vibes galore - expect some quality juggling and musical joyride of all the latest and greatest of reggae and dancehall music!
