This is a very old song written in 2001 and one of the first songs I recorded with Charlie. It's a kind of Disco Jazz Pop song, with a nice wah-wah guitar but not recorded too well on my old TASCAM 8-track tape machine. I was going to record it all over again but I'm way too busy and behind to re-record it. I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to say "Beautiful Blonde" anymore but she was and I ain't changing the lyrics now. It's just a fluffy little nothing song, very light-hearted and innocent like songs used to be! No deep meaning here, just dancing for dancing's sake! So here it is with all the bumps, bruises, flat notes, and my horrid singing! Charlie and I both sang it together in spots (We should have rehearsed it a bit more! We just winged it!😂) and Charlie played a nice Jazzy harmonica on it as well!
     There's a nice story behind it, Mid-life crisis mode again, I was out with a few friends and we stopped by a nice retro club downtown that had a live band playing 60's and 70's music and I guess I had a few too many and nobody was dancing, so I just got up on the floor and started to dance by myself. At the time I was in my 40's and I could still dance pretty good, I'm a very active dancer, funky/disco/latin vibe, I could even moonwalk!😂 Anyway, about the second or third song this very good-looking blonde started dancing with me? Out of nowhere? And we danced all night until my friends wanted to leave. I left with them and never got her name or number or anything, just the memory! She was a very sweet and nice person, well a Beautiful Blonde lady, I do remember that!😂 A few days later I wrote this song from the experience. I know it's pretty rough around the edges and my recording equipment was pretty crappy at the time but the spirit is still in there, somewhere, with some good lyrics too!

I put the video together last year and had a lot of fun doing it! I tried to put in 100 beautiful blonde ladies in ti!😂 It's very true what they say the Blondes have more fun!
