Almost always loyal to the heartbeat of 170bpm, but never constrained to any particular sub-genre, Oliver Yorke takes a deeper and more narrative excursion with the "Into The Void" EP. 
Off-kilter beats and retro musicality set the tone throughout, but each track has its own story to tell, and therefore its own character. The title track "Into The Void" is a skewed-rhythm chordal epic, themed around an astronaut's experience of astral beauty; "On Your Mind" is a more emotional journey, an exercise in low-frequency sentimentality, illustrating the pensive reflection of unanswered questions; "Celestial Shadows" takes a darker turn, an evolving stepper of menacing consequence, sonically realising the difference between light and dark when orbiting the Earth; finally "Cerebral" attempts to address the unknowns inside our minds rather than outside - a neuroscientist describing herself undergoing major change in brain function is the story here.
