The second version as a remix edition, as a part of Eko album by Addex, is called DayMode which includes 4 new remixes and versions of tracks from the album. First release was on 23 July 2021, called NightMode and after more than a year, another four new tracks are being remixed. NightMode release included Across the Endline remix by Dubtommy Remix and another remix by Anton Lanski, Cloudescape was remixed by Ilias Katelanos and Imbold by Alessandro Crimi Remix. On DayMode version, New Temporal Frontier, Cloudescape and Everlasting are reworked.

New Temporal Frontier (Dub) track starts the ep more uplifting, with a touch of organic sounds, melancholical notes, pianos and 2 key chord that goes along the way like the original version. The bassline goes straight ahead and strikes well with the snare and kick and the pianos are more present in this Dub version.

Cloudescape has 2 versions done by Illuvia (Purl, Eternell), one which is an atmospheric dreamy track and lighter then the second one (reprise version), which has more drum elements, percussions and a longer construction. The last track reworked is Everlasting. Comparing to the slow rhythm and atmosphere melody around the track, the new Dub version has more deep house rhythm with cut sounds and precussions from the original version.

Freerange regular Simbad is back with a new 4 track EP following on from his 2021 Peaceful Revolution EP which got big support from Ron Trent, Gilles Peterson, Osunlade and Horse Meat Disco to name a few. Having based himself in Cape Town the last 5 or so years, the French born producer and DJ is one of the most prolific artists in the scene having notched up countless EP’s, remixes and production work for labels like Apron, G.A.M.M. Faces, Hyperdub, Atjazz, BBE & Brownswood. His association with Gilles Peterson and Worldwide runs deep, hosting regular shows on WWFM as well as traversing the globe delivering his unique and eclectic sets from Africa to Asia and beyond.

Lead track Nuphoria kicks things off in typical Simbad genre bending style, sitting in a sweet spot between the Baltimore house of Karizma, the epic, uplifting techno of Laurent Garnier and the UK-centric rave sounds of Bicep and Kieren Hebden. Not an easy track to pigeon-hole but one that can’t fail to grab the dancers attention if dropped at the right time on a discerning dance floor.
Up next we have Dream featuring SA native Sanele who delivers a beautiful, raw and intimate vocal performance which fits perfectly with Simbads’ roughed-up drums and chiming Rhodes chords.

Flipping over Simbad delivers an alternate Pretoria Mix of Nuphoria which slows the pace of the original, adds a more rhythmic bassline and spoken word sample. A deeper alternative to the original which retains the euphoric quality thanks to its epic synth line and chords.

Closing out the release we have Wake Up featuring Frederick of Fifty Fathoms Deep who contributes to a bright and breezy house track with soulful chords and bouncing square wave bass line.

Tigerskin is back on Disco tracks. "City Nights" is a cool late 70s-influenced groover with lots of quotations. Cop cars, dealers and dirt next to organs, guitars and strings.

"Once and for All" brings back early 80s feel. Deep, laid back rhythms, fat claps, synth bass and saxophones. Yes, saxophones. It’s beautiful, isn’t it?

Our next release features a collaboration between Lalo Leyy & Chanknous with their track 6PM. It's a fantastic tune with a beautiful vocal we think you'll find is perfect for those day parties and sunset sessions.

We decided to split this one into a 2 part release to have some other artists we love put there own spin on it. For part 1 we see the return of the legendary Sebb Junior for another Deep House groover similar to his work on Demarkus Lewis's Airlock EP. So, if you loved that remix of his, you're going to love this one just as much!  

We also see the return of a production duo in Part 1 that we've been a firm believer in for some time now - Sachrias & Aslak. Sachrias & Aslak have released music on Cromarti since 2011 with their 2 part release for "Stromso", which we had an amazing selection of artists rework. Their sound and production quality are top notch, and we have no doubt you're going to love the deep dub mix they've turned out for this one.

Part 2 is here! In part 1 we released the original mix by Lalo Leyy & Chanknous, as well as some fantastic remixes by Sebb Junior and Sachrias & Aslak.

For Part 2 we've got 2 more amazing remixes to offer up. Out of Italy, we have a remix by Vincenzo! Personally one of our favorite producers over the years, Vincenzo has done work for some of the worlds leading labels. Such as: Bedrock, Toolroom, Anjunadeep, Lazy Days Music, Dessous, Poker Flat, Vapour and more. We're happy to be working with him on this one, and some original material in the near future. He's turned out a beautiful remix for 6PM along the lines of his deeper moods he's iconic for. We think you'll be loving these for those sunset sessions this Spring & Summer.

Next we have a remix by Justnique, another producer out of Italy, who's work we've been paying attention to and really enjoying lately! We're sure you're going to love what he's done with his version. It's a catchy Deep House groove that's sure to get the crowd going.

With his fantastic remix to Juanma Llopis still high on the heels, Bonetti debuts on Cyanide with his first solo ep. Deep Flavour is an exquisite track of underground house music, with a solid groove and funky stabs. Its ethereal pads enrich the song adding a fantastic atmosphere, wich will get you enganged in the song from the first listen.

First on remix duties are the Italian producers Deepkeen (I Records) with a superb version of the original track. They have added some new melodies and catchy vocals to Deep Flavor, having as a result a great piece of deep house. Last but not least, James Benedict (Large Music) has stripped down the original song and added new 303 synths, obtaining a fantastic acid house version.
