Digging even deeper into their nasty jungle and old skool roots, the Fling Rock Stone EP, presents you with an onslaught of perfectly executed, razor sharp drum patterns and basses that pack a 10 tonne force to the chest! Due to be released on internationally renowned Ram Record’s sister imprint Program, it’s the follow up to a debut single which saw the rise to underground prominence. 

‘Fling Rock Stone’ kicks off the EP, setting the tone with intricate filtered breaks and the war cry of “Fling Rock Stone”. You’re hyped up into a flurry of chest caving subs and breaks chopped together with utmost precision and style.

Up next is ‘Highgrade’, beginning with pads this track is set to annihilate dancefloor’s around the world over and over. Serious amen break drum work cuts through and delivers nothing but power and bass weight energy reminiscent of the dark days, fusing new elements with old skool flavour, delivering nothing short of a production masterpiece.

‘Hyper G’ and ‘Bagleys’ complete the EP. ‘Hyper G’ rolls in with mysterious, unearthly atmospherics layered on top of mangled drum edits building into a crushing assault. Heavy weight kick drums, clanged snares and mid range heavy stabs deliver an all-out tear rhythm, able to lead you onto any dance floor. ‘Bagleys’ sets a different tone. Taking you on a journey to the epic rave days of Bagleys nightclub with an echoed sample mixed on top of bitcrushed drum edits and murky pads, its rises into a storm of pitching down bass, and the drums are rolled in guaranteeing nothing but pure dancefloor satisfaction.

With 4 beautifully crafted masterpieces, Slang Banger blend the lines of old skool flavour and dark, tech infused bass lines to deliver something fresh, exciting and monstrous! Thus delivering the guarantee of world dance floor domination!

This full length album for Headz from Jungle  Drum & Bass alumni Dom & Roland comes at a perfect time for the artist and the label, it follows his massive ‘Outta Endz / Unofficial Jah remix’ release and comes at a time where the label has been at its most fertile in recent memory.

The album harks back to pioneering 90s aesthetic of the music but it doesn’t feel retrospective, in fact it feels futuristic-  a thread that Dom has made sure ties all his work together.  The reference points for the album stretch far and wide, from the inspiring and equally green eyed Sunday Sessions at Blue Note to RZA’s approach to sampling.

 Dom’s own words on the album perhaps shed the most light:

“The album is inspired and processed via a collection of moments I had through growing up, the things i was into, memories of good and bad times i'd had and the music i was listening to at the time”

Collaborations are kept sparse and potent, US legend Hive turns in a very rare appearance on D.M.T and vocal features come from Robert Manos and Natalie Duncan.

The album is Dom & Roland exorcising his artistic demons and we’re proud to be releasing the project on Metalheadz.

Alone they stood upon the roof of the world, two minds interlocked beyond the realm of their origin. Delivered into this alternate reality as separate points of consciousness, the definition of their relative distinction was for a while their only grip upon the structures of the past. Staring across the infinite horizon over the edge of their plateau, the meaning of time itself was lost in the entropy of their incarceration. In that endless expanse, the fringes of their perception eroded – stark concepts reacting and evolving in the wake of a forgotten future, bearing fresh complexity as the branches of their minds intertwined. Boundaries melted upon the shores of the present as the separation of elements lost meaning, the properties of addition relentless and timeless – towering beyond their combined mindstate.
 
Following their striking emergence onto EATBRAIN with ‘The Order’ EP in 2016, AGRESSOR BUNX tore a ragged furrow through the year with their rapid rise to the apex of the drum & bass sphere, with releases on Blackout, Trendkill, Bad Taste and Program. With the duo featuring heavily at Eatbrain live shows, they’ve seared their sound deep into the hearts of the label’s massive crew and quickly become embedded in the core of their aesthetic. 2017 brings the release of the Ukrainian pair’s first LP on Eatbrain in the form of the PROPERTIES OF ADDITION LP, which delivers an array of the kind of cutting-edge diverse and heavy-hitting forms of drum & bass that fans of both the Agressor Bunx have come to expect. The 4 tracks dropping on the Properties of Addition sampler – BLEAK SHADOWS – THE OFFERING – NINJA – RADICAL SOUND stake out a fierce and advanced sound field that’s going to be pulverizing speaker cones as listeners anxiously await the full release and the level up for both artist and label it represents.
