Her powerful techno-sound is the rawest form yet spiked with elegance and exotic grooves, nicely balanced with explosive peaks and climaxes that convincingly send you: OFF. Her first track 'Radio active Elephants From Mars "was immediately in the Beatport Top 100. There are gentle moments elegantly timed in the center, and exotic signatures laced throughout the entire mix. YENI is not only another term for "new", but also the name of a young woman from East Germany who has started producing Techno in the age of 15 where she gave away her own CDs to the visitors of the old Techno  club  10/40 in  Leipzig. YENI can also look back on 6 years of DJing under her alter ego where she performed in many international clubs and festivals such as in India, Europe, Asia, and the US. Dedication and craziness are only two of many more characteristics that people use to describe her personality. By starting over with a new solo project and by founding her own Techno record label "CYBORGS IN LOVE", YENI has decided to bring her forward going tracks into the clubs.

Cyborgs  In  Love  is  soon  to  release  their  first  compilation,  featuring  eleven  tracks  from  various  contributors  and  mix  from  label  owner  Yeni.  Coming  off  the  back  of  recent  releases  from  the  label  and  Yeni  herself,  the  compilation  is  sure  to  make  its  mark  on  the  scene  with  its  hard,  thumping  techno  sound.  The  contributors  on  the  release  are  Drumcomplex,  Gabriele  Penn,  Roland  M.  Dill,  Chris  Hirose,  Pete  Laskis  &  John  Haden,  Ronny  Vergara  &  Djerry  C,  Bohn,  Boodaman,  Joonas  L  and  Smoon.  Offering  up  a  truly  astonishing  sound,  ͚We  Are  Cyborgs  Vol.  1͛  is  a  fearsome  compilation  featuring  ring-modded  keys,  industrial  atmospherics  and,  above  all,  pounding  beats.  Yeni  works  her  way  through  the  stunning  array  of  tracks  in  her  mix,  never  losing  the  essence  of  any  of  the  tracks  while  maintaining  a  steady,  brain  melting  beat.  There  are  pulsating  synth  basslines  courtesy  of  Chris  Hirose,  skittering,  high  tempo  rhythms  from  Boodaman  and  retro  sounds  from  Drumcomplex.  The  compilation  is  one  that  you  never  want  to  end,  with  its  intoxicating  beats  taking  over  your  mind  and  body  until  all  you  can  do  is  groove  mindlessly.  It  features  everything  you  love  about  this  end  of  the  techno  spectrum:  deep,  booming  beats,  grimy  basslines  and  just  enough  heady  weirdness  sprinkled  on  top.  Roland  M.  Dill͛s  ͚City  Of  Refuge͛  is  the  best  example  of  this  last  trait,  with  modified  keys,  percussive  rattling  and  what  almost  sounds  like  a  storm  what  in  a  background.  Other  tracks  are  of  a  more  deep,  hypnotising  vibe  like  Pete  Laskis  &  John  Haden͛s  ͚You  Can͛t  Take  My  Soul͛.  Rather  than  featuring  a  straight  techno  beat,  ͚You  Can͛t  Take  My  Soul͛  mixes  in  other  rhythms  on  top  and  keeps  the  track  marching  forward.  We  are  treated  to  a  double  dose  of  ͚Valhalla͛by  Ronny  Vergara  and  Djerry  C,  the  latter  being  the  ͚Sync  Therapy  Remix͛.  Both  versions  drag  you  down  into  the  murk,  leaving  you  feeling  like  you͛d  just  been  in  the  basement  of  a  Berlin  nightclub  for  three  days.  Yeni͛s  honours  the  tracks  she  compiled  with  her  stunning  mix.  The  tracks  never  lose  sight  of  their  identity  and  the  beat  keeps  pushing  hard,  relenting  only  to  give  way  to  an  even  harder  beatscape. PREMIERE:  Chris Hirose - The Night We Met (Original Mix) [Cyborgs in Love]

Happy Friday everyone. Really excited to share some new music with you all today. Today we have a brand new one from a group I have been listening to for over a decade Drumcomplex. Their new track for the compilation We Are Cyborgs (release date 5/4/18) is absolutely off the charts and I am stoked we get to premiere it for you here today. The label it is releasing on Cyborgs In Love is the product of German born producer and DJ Yeni. This is the first compilation for the label following up their most recent release from Yeni herself. It is not one to be glossed over either. The entire comp from start to finish is curated beautifully with tracks coming from the likes of Gabriele Penn, Roland M. Dill, Chris Hirose, Pete Laskis & John Haden, Ronny Vergara & Djerry C, Bohn, Boodaman, Joonas L and Smoon. Topping everything of like a nice cherry on top of a banana split is Yeni's mix  that takes us on a journey through the entire compilation that you never want to stop.

Focusing back on our premiere. Drumcomplex have put together a beast of a track for this compilation that will have you smashing the ground with your boots so hard the earth may begin to shake. That is if it isn't already rumbling from the never ending bass that is booming from the speakers. Jumping off with a grungy no holds barred kick and high hat groove Drumcomplex take us down the rabbit hole as they continue to add more and more elements to the track. I am particularly fond of the filthy saw synth that drones away and modulates under the groove. The vocal doesn't take long to kick in either and at certain points takes on a life of its own. I have caught myself more than once changing the words to this song in my head, I get so utterly lost in it. That is a good thing by the way. The kicker of all this is I'm only about a minute into the track. The progressive nature of this track is the best part. While it is full of patterns nothing ever really repeats. My head just about popped off my shoulders at the 2:39 mark when the track jumps into overdrive. I really just cant get enough of this track and am excited to hear more from Drumcomplex along with Yeni and the rest of Cyborgs In Love, hopefully in the very near future .
