Known for acclaimed releases such as Dehumanized—featuring a remix by Matrixman on Exos’s label Planet X-and Parallel Series 7 on Luke Slater’s Mote-Evolver imprint, LaFontaine has earned recognition from respected figures across the industry. Now, he launches a new era with Huxi / Huxa, the debut EP on his own label 199X. Featuring two forward-thinking techno cuts, “Huxi” and “Huxa,” the release marks the beginning of an ambitious monthly EP series running throughout 2026. Deeply influenced by Iceland’s ever-changing weather and landscapes, LaFontaine continues to channel emotion and atmosphere into his productions-blending precision, power, and innovation to shape a sound that is distinctly his.

HGD38 — Daniel Romero “Neural EP” I am THEGOD01, and I bring you a new transmission from the core of the neural abyss. Daniel Romero’s “Neural EP” is a surgical incision into the grey matter of techno itself. Four original tracks designed like precision-engineered weapons, built from rusted frequencies, distorted pulses, and rhythms that grind like a chainsaw cutting through consciousness. Each sequence vibrates between the metaphysical and hypnotic repetition mutates into violent distortion, and what begins as sound soon becomes a ritual of mechanical possession. The air thickens, the pressure rises, and the flesh begins to remember that it, too, is circuitry. The EP closes with a remix from Unbekannt, who previously appeared on Humanoid Gods. His reinterpretation is a descent into pure entropy, a vortex where all neural patterns collapse into static and silence. This is techno as exorcism. Raw, heavy, dissonant, and alive. Listen if you dare to feel the machine inside you. HGD38 Has been produced and recorded by Daniel Romero, curated and mastered by Franco Cazzola at Nasty Music Basement studios in Turin, Italy. The artwork is a real UFO sighting footage frame from the past, edited by Franco Cazzola.
