Cykotek's meticulous engineering and futuristic soundscapes are equally in evidence on 'Neofunk', but he's switched up his approach, with menacing drone pads, complex layered filters, and a much looser vibe. Percussion augments the stark, stepping snare as the bass rolls out, sprawling like a river overflowing its banks. Low-key but deadly: a depth charge of a tune.

My sound is focused mostly on techstep and sometimes technoid, influenced by artists such as Ed Rush & Optical, Jonny L, Cause 4 Concern, Konflict and Audio.

The Neurocyantists is a collaborative partnership between Greg Hamann (Affiliate) and Matt Toyne (Total Harmonic Control) with an aim to create and produce front line bass music. After pursuing their own musical endeavors, they decided that two heads were better than one and the Neurocyantists were born. Together with experience in production, composition and performance the Neurocyantists strive to produce a distinctive style; a certain hybridization of various styles of drum and bass, breaks and glitch. The pair have a deep seeded passion for their music and are always pushing to further their sound.
