Very excited about the release of our fourth reference. We welcome Kiri, who debuts on our label with his second EP called "Gateway to Hell". The Austrian producer already showed his weapons in his first release on the amazing Kurnugû label and now offers us in this new EP 4 tracks full of personality and power including a collaboration with Parasite. Grumpy Halftime/Jungle wrapped with corrosive percussion, sinister bass and apocalyptic atmospheres. Kiri promises to make us vibrate a lot with his Drum & Bass, welcome to his dark hell. Out Of Fuel finally get their vinyl debut on the label with a VIP of 'Tulenisku', as heard recently in the sets of Sully and Dj Flight among others. The original was one of the many highlights on their 2023 album 'Geometric Landscapes' a collection of deep dark techy tunes for the dancefloor and headphones alike. Watch out for the 3rd and final EP in the 'States of Art' vinyl series, complete with artwork by the renowned graffiti artist EGS, dropping in October.

Out Of Fuel - Tulenisku VIP [States of Art III EP]

The first release in the semblk series sets an uncompromising tone for this new imprint dedicated to darker, more introspective strains of 170 bpm music. Limited to just 30 lathe-cut black label plates, encased in full artwork handmade screen-printed sleeves, this series is clearly aimed at collectors and those who cherish the tactile, raw experience of vinyl.

Kicking things off is Hungarian producer St.Iff with The Repressed Urge, a four-track exploration of the shadowy edges of drum & bass, jungle, and halfstep. The A1 title track immediately plunges into murky depths with tense atmospherics and fractured percussion. On A2, St.Iff teams up with Manchester’s Artilect for “Percival,” pushing the momentum into a brooding jungle roller laced with ghostly pads and shuffling breaks. Flip to the B side and “Hollow Out” continues the descent, stripping things back with skeletal drums and cavernous low-end pressure that feels almost ritualistic. The closing track, “Urawa,” sees St.Iff joined by Focal Point for a bleak halfstep excursion, where sparse kicks echo through dense fogs of texture, amplifying the EP’s psychological pull.
