Nicola aka Niff, in addition to being a great friend, is an artist very respected and very loved by cymatix co-founders .
Which explains why he was the first guest invited to our first event and there for the artist starting this new podcast series 

His constant musical search revolves around mashing up different styles and genres creating an ever-envolving landscape depending on the mood, the location and the hours, his playing remain full of surprises and pleasantly unpredictable, always flirting with many electronic music’s nuances

Death must be a hot dance, or at least, a pretty cold fire. 

On highest, purest scales, extreme degrees of attraction lead to massive, irreversible destructions that, on a final momentum, open up to complete extinction. Sounds off, lights gone, swallowed by the void and feeding its silence until it becomes clear for death there’s no space for new.

But light will always keep secrecy. It stays back, elusory, dismantle in tiny, shiny dots of uncatchable fires, hiding in the heavy dark and waiting to emerge and connect for creation. The cycle’s drawn. Dancing shadows merge into crystal cold fires, burning into sounds and revealing new, finer degrees of attraction.

Rub800 is an Oslo-based DJ and producer dedicated deeply in vinyl and machines. He is a familiar face at Oslo clubs and concepts such as 'UNTS' and 'Det Gode Selskab', where he can be heard playing various moods of underground house, techno and beyond.

We've been big fans of his productions since his EP on Stillwell, and this mix showcases a special sensitivity for all things deep and mysterious, achieving a high execution level, that of a player truly invested in the game.

Marie K's intriguing sound caught our attention from the very first listen. 

As a resident at Amsterdam's Breakfast Club and based in Rotterdam, her skills both behind the decks and in the studio have been nurtured over the years, defining a highly personal presence within dance music. Whether you catch Marie spinning records or playing live on her machines, the passion shines bright.

We first heard Marie playing live at Above Below festival - a fascinating sound that balances a sense of playfulness with cryptic and mystical atmospheres. Her DJ sets channel a similar path with influence from contemporary circles in the likes of Ukraine and Uruguay where a spirited sound is front and centre.

Taking over after Nicolas Lutz playing a magnificent sunrise set to a packed terrace is no easy task, but Adi made easy work of it on the Sunday morning of Bonanza this year. 

Kicking off at 7.30am, Adi never let the energy dip, working through house, electro and techno all underlaid with her trademark acidy sound palette. 

Listening back, this captures the sun-kissed energy of that morning perfectly.
