“Well fuck me running!” – is what you mostly hear from satisfied attendants after a CYRCUS show. That is, assuming they are still able to walk upright let alone form a complete sentence.
These four guys from the sunny German Rheinland deliver an explosive mixture of contemporary metal, alternative rock, soap bubbles, and confetti, which immediately ignites like dry tinder lying in the summery midday heat – even in winter.
CYRCUS are not about who is the evilest musician wearing the blackest t-shirt. Instead, they are about setting the roof on fire together with their audience and having a blast, an attitude which is conveyed through their music as well as through their energetic stage performance.
The band consisting of guitarist Andy Gaube, drummer Kersten Noczinski, and bass player Simon “Sigh” vom Eyser is completed by frontman Jan C. Müller, who started as a studio singer back when he was only four years old (including more than forty songs for the German TV- show “Die Sendung mit der Maus”) and can be seen hosting the show “EMP Rockinvasion” (DMAX / Youtube) on a regular basis.
With their EP “Echoes”, which is limited to 999 copies and can only be purchased directly at their shows, CYRCUS are currently providing an exclusive outlook on their oncoming album “Coulrophobia" produced by Sky Hoff (CALIBAN, THE SORROW, MRS. GREENBIRD, etc.).
CYRCUS have already performed on stage alongside bands such as VOLBEAT, KNORKATOR, DEAD BY APRIL, RAGE, REVOLVERHELD, BORN FROM PAIN, and MOTORJESUS.
The first single off this album, "I Mean Like... Wow... and Stuff", and the corresponding video have already been released in 2012 followed by the well received 2nd single HEALING incl an outstanding Videoclip
