Friends, 

some of you will be surprised to know that i play not only downtempo music :) I hope is a good surprise. This mix is recorded to give a preview of my mainfloor "psy" music to the people in Brazil, as i am going there to perform in September.

In future i might share also my "psy-techno" mixes. But don't worry, i am totally and fully in love in psychedelic chillout / ambient music, and this will stay the main focus of my project and this soundcloud page.

Gagarin Musical Background:
I have been listening to all kind of different music, in the end 90s i discovered clubbing and had very interesting experience on dance floor (techno / jungle / dnb). Since that time i regularly attended clubs, raves, free parties, squats, warehouses all over the world. I love to dance to electronic music.

in the 2008-2010 i discovered psy chillout music on the internet and few years later i had my first psychedelic festival experience and discovered trance. With time i started to understand and feel better psychedelic trance music. Still, I have to say that there is only a VERY small fraction of the psytrance music that i enjoy. So even i attend main floor, i rarely stay there long :) And i would rarely go to a party with no chillout stage. 

So this is my first published on internet psygressive psytrance  mix and i hope you will like it, comments here or via private messages are appreciated.

In this mix i selected some of the older tunes i enjoy ( 2011-2014), that's why the name is Back To Basics.

As all my previous "psybient / psychill" mixes published here, this is a live mix, recorded from 1st take and there is no editing.

(psygressive demo) Gagarin Beats - Back To Basics

At the age of twenty, Conm traveled to Asia and he discovered the world of electronic music. He was dying to know how to make his own sounds and music. So he started producing electronic music himself as a hobby and learn how to use modular synths.

He made his first releases in 2006, the same year he had the first performance at the Forbidden Paradise Festival in Thailand. In Asia his music found fast approval. Then other country, for example South America, Russia, Europe.

The particularity of Conm is that he is playing live with his modular synths, creating live set in real time, making his performances always unique and different.

He is always researching and focusing on finding new sounds.

Since then, Conm has made a full-time living from music and has continued to develop as an artist. He went on to release on Arpkord Records and various independant labels.
