The news flickers one last time, The gloomy picture appears pale to us. We turn the sound dial all the way up. 4K is better than HD, we've got that down.

No one needs hope for this life, Whoever still has it, we consider them off. The glaciers, they melt, the forests, they burn. Who still wants to run for their life there? 

Who still wants to take action against this ruin? Life is beautiful nonetheless. Oh, it doesn't matter. Banal is our idiocy. We donate money with innocence, more than ever before. 

We nod and twitch, we're used to all of this. Our nerves remain untouched on our movie night. The sad reward of all these hours hasn't harmed us. We laughed and opened a bag of chips. 

The abyss is a pleasure for us. We are like madmen. With joy we watch the fate of the world on TV today, At our side we have our brides, it's nice and warm there. We lack nothing, even if the world burns, we still get enough for our money. 

Why does the silence bother you? Do you have a pill for me? Where nature once bloomed lushly, a gallows has stood for a short time now. That's just fantasy, no action, no control. It just comes to my mind. I'm spinning.
