Sagittarius Black, Brooklyn native, is high on the rise. Sag has been performing all his life and started rapping at the age of 15. Black released his debut project "Burden of Proof" in 2008, after being featured in countless mixtapes. He's built a stable music catalog with works like last year's critically acclaimed mixtape "The Primary". He's nicknamed "The lyrical rubix cube" because his lyrics are not too complicated but they definitely make you think.

New York hip hop artist Sagittarius Black has changed his name to Cyrus. Reportedly, the move reflects his spiritual and musical evolution. His spokesman stated that Cy "Felt that the change was refreshing and much needed in recreating a new sound to accompany the vibe. It represents his growth." As of right now, his site Sagittariusblack.com is still up. But according to his publicist, his website and social media pages will soon reflect the change, as will all future pressings of his albums and singles. To solidify the name change “Cyrus” is releasing singles "Harken" and "Memories" featuring Bronx songstress Michelle Singz. Cy released "Brooklyn Needs Air" last May. All three records are produced by Baynes of Industry Labs for his Black Male Misunderstood project.
