Hey, everyone. Hope you're having a good Thursday. This week has been tiring, but we're all nearing the end...and I'm a big fan of early celebrations! Let's kick things off by checking out today's upload.

"Karmic Cyanide" is a boss theme of sorts created by Valor Genesect for one of their standing projects, Dustswap Revenge: Unhinged Hatred. The project seems to put a deep focus on a unique spin of the popular UNDERTALE character, Sans, and his slow dive into vengeful insanity.

Feel that same insanity breaking out of your skull in "Karmic Cyanide: Screams of Vengeance", a nearly four minute adventure of dark synths, smashing drums, powerful guitars, and gently orchestrated melodies. About twelve hours of production time have resulted in something that will pull you through the sad undertones and harsh adrenaline of an age old tale: striking in the name of vengeance. This was an interesting request from the raffle for sure, and I'm glad I made something out of it.

Interesting Facts:
- As I mentioned above, this took around twelve hours to produce, and ten of them were done straight in the dead of the night.
- One of my favorite parts of Valor's work was a somber rendition of Papyrus' theme in the opening of the song; I modified that rendition and used a soft organ to create the feeling of a merry-go-round. What fun!
- I really enjoyed composing the gentler melodies and chords of the song. It made me feel like I had my own little orchestra, haha...

Surprise, listeners! It's Brandon; do you recognize me?! After a three month wait, I've returned just a LITTLE bit earlier than Thursday to deliver something very exciting. Five long years ago, the beloved project known as UNDERTOAD welcomed a game-changing addition to its vast soundtrack; this addition was known as "REVOLUTION". With UNDERTOAD being a harmony of Nintendo's signature IP and UNDERTALE's riveting concepts, "REVOLUTION" aimed to capture the atmosphere of an intense battle against one of our most beloved and historic friends, Mario, composed by industry giants LucasPucas and Galactigal. As the years would pass by, the song would boast critical acclaim among fans, and while spawning its fair share of fan works and dedications, it would go through many different official renditions; I would get the chance to work on quite a few of these renditions myself, all the while being alongside some seriously professional partners. After much doting on the song and what it meant to the story, the concept became tiresome to many longtime fans as well as the creatively gifted development team, and it would be touched less and less until the UNDERTOAD project went on an indefinite hiatus. It was but a whispered memory...

Rekindle that whisper into a screaming roar of victory with "The Starman's Riot", a nearly four minute dusting off of the beloved track, "REVOLUTION". Taking deep root in your heart with a soul shaking unison of blasting drums, widened synths, fierce guitars, easing keys, and familiar Nintendo sounds, "The Starman's Riot" aims to signify the end of a wonderful world with a fiery explosion. Let your spirit free with the simplest of bongos and hats pushing along an intensely detailed composition, completely dedicated to the emotions of Mario's meaningful adventures. From the fast-paced energies of a fight to the death in Super Mario World to the softly spoken farewells of Super Mario 64's "Staff Roll", let your heart sing with the passions that only Nintendo's Koji Kondo can bring you. Indulge yourself in the creative liberties that I've taken to ensure my own spirit can be heard through such a strong emotional cry, and perhaps resonate with me in my attempt to communicate the true weight of such a tale, and its tried and true end.

- I initially began reinventing "REVOLUTION" around the time that "Cognitive Assumptions" was posted, but felt that the project had too much high end and not enough sound width.
- I dedicated the next few months to rigorous experimentation on spreading the mono sounds of the SNES equally across the space. It was a success!
- I was reminded of my time working with four other members on a rendition of "REVOLUTION" during this, and I felt happiness in the presence of this memory.
- 1:32 onwards may be my favorite part of the song, but it's truthfully hard to tell. It fills me with much excitement to listen to the entire thing.
- Did you miss me?! I missed you. Maybe I'll see you this Thursday so we can talk...?

Hello there.

This is going to be my last attempt at a phase 1 for the new DUSTTRUST (aka Kasssm's direction of it. Now my direction of it-)

I can't say I completely had fun, due to me worrying that it won't be up to par with the community and I'll get shot down cause of it. But at points you just gotta say, what the hell what's the worse that can happen? And this is how it came to be! And I really hope you guys like it!

One more thing, reason why Reanimation isn't present in the track and it's replaced with Striking The Demon Down, well, if you know you know.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to say. Thank you so much to my Discord server. Without you guys to motivate me, this wouldn't had happen. So special thanks to them!

I've lost new friends, I've reconnected with olds one, I've loved, I've lost, I've hurt, and I've been hurt.

To those who I've come to know: Whether with time I've come to hate you, or love you, you've helped me become the person I am today, and for that, I am thankful. The scars I've been left with remind me of what mistakes to not make again, and the positive reinforcement allows me to keep going, I cannot express enough how much both of those mean to me.

To my followers: Thank you so much! Each and every one of you mean so much to me, and it brings me so much joy to know that you enjoy what I make. I would like to continue to provide for all of you, and I hope you'll hear me when I continue.

Anecdotes: This cover has done way much for me than I ever thought it could. The experience of writing lyrics, to be able to finally put into words the emotional issues I've been coping with for the longest time... It's meant a lot to me. Who knew that something so mundane could be so cathartic. It's helped me get past certain things.

I'm definitely not the best at audio mixing, so I just tried to compose as well as I could. I put a lot of heart into this, so I hope you enjoy it.
