CZ005 Majed - Palmier (CZ)
The ever impressive Majed makes his debut appearance on our latest CZ release with the superb Palmier which comes packed with 3 fantastic remixes. Majed and CZ label boss Van Czar are no strangers, the two have collaborated in the past with some stunning results. Their last joint venture was back in December 2015 when they teamed up deliver the Panimic EP which gained some great support. We're delighted to have Majed on board and no doubt we'll be seeing much more of his special brand of techno in the future.
First up we have the Original Mix that takes us deep into the techno sound with its pounding beats and tribal rhythms. Huge chunky kick drums lead the way and are backed up with a deep rumbling bassline as well as a super tight drum arrangement. The drums are the big hitters here, a cacophony of sounds converge into one smooth techno induced rhythm that will have you hooked from the outset. Over the drums we get a range of cool percussions that add so much texture to the groove. A monstrous wall of sound ensues that will shake the foundations in any venue.
CZ label found and Belgian techno wizard Van Czar is up first on remix duties and he proves once more the sheer talent he holds. Fresh off the back of his latest Bonzai Basiks cut - Take Control - alongside Acid Kit, Van never fails to impress with his brand of dark, rhythmic techno. Here on the remix he gets right down to it from the outset as he builds layers of drums to form a solid rhythm. On the low end a rumbling bassline does the business, drawing you in and not letting go. Tight percussions flow effortlessly through the sound as we go deeper into techno. On the break we get teased by heavily FX'd synths as that bass fades out before we get slammed right back into full on mode for the duration. Superb stuff once more, not to be missed.
Colombian DJ and producer Felo Rueda aka Juan Felipe Rueda also debuts on CZ with his brilliant remix. Juan became interested in electronic music around the age of 17 when he started going to Rave parties and clubs. He soon got into DJing and scored many gigs around his local scene. In 2013 he started to produce and quickly established himself as a top artist with appearances on labels such as Black Kat, BullDog Records, Dark Face Recordings, Phunk Traxx , KoolKatz Recordings, Funk' Deep, Jumpstereo, HardCutz Records, Magna Recordings, SubMerged, Nell Records and many others. His tracks have been championed by the likes of Richie Hawtin, who has a major influence on him as an artist, among others.  His sound goes from Tech House to Techno, with an underground style full of energy for the dancefloor. The remix certainly exudes an energetic flow with pumping beats and a deep underlying bassline that probes every nook and cranny of the sound. Cool rhythmic hats and drums provide a solid platform for the groove to take hold as the track intensifies with a little help from an intermittent rising synth. A beautifully constructed slice of deep techno that will definitely rock out any floor.
Portuguese DJ and producer Diogo Tavares aka Protyv returns to CZ for his second outing on remix duties after his debut - Organic - back in March 2016. Diogo is a gifted musician having learned piano and guitar from a very young age. On the remix we are taken deep into the groovier side of techno with some warm sounds and tight beats. The first thing to hit you are those drums, beautifully arranged to deliver a solid, flowing rhythm. A scathing, grainy synth line runs through the track accompanied by a sparse voice. The bassline stealthily comes into the sound and lies on the low end perfectly, delivering a warming vibe. Great stuff that would be a welcome addition in any set.

LESU, LESU, LESU.. The man of tech is back on them Black and Whites.. Super ass sexy stuff flying on the 1 & 2’s.. 

“On The New Place” is a super sexy techno crossover tech affair that oozes sex. Excellent noises that flow in and out whist driving. Probably his best track to date. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.

OH Yes.. for this super BIG BAD boy track required the man of the moment, the man Phutek., This guy can do no wrong, everyone loves him, literally.. Carl Cox, Varela, Luciano.. All tripping up playing his stuff. This is one REALLY BIG bad ass remix.. Cannot big this remix up enough.. MASSIVE.

Kreseil is alone on this one. This is a sexy deep techno remix of the highest calibre. Techno that mashes the brain. Lovely stuff.

Van Czar makes his debut on the Worlds number 1 Hard Techno label. This techno remix is a gem. Van goes down the tech route too and maybe a splash of progressiveness added in for favour.. Very nice..

Also included is another BELTING original called “Really Don’t Know”. 
WELL I DO KNOW Andre.. This is a cracking release with superb remixes and 2 BADD ASS originals..

Implicate Mind - Worship EP (CZ)
Based in Finland, Implicate Mind aka Russian producer Dmitri Soukhotski debuts on CZ with the brilliant Worship EP. His musicianship began at an early age with an upright piano in St. Petersburg, Russia. He was always the one to ask for some fresh music which at that time was traded and loaned at school on compact cassettes. His electronic music career began in 1998 in Bolinas, California using sample CD&iacute;s and a cassette 4-track. Working at recording studios in the Bay Area gave him a unique perspective on production while DJing part time in local music-bar venues. In 2001 he recorded in West Oakland under the title D The Light. Since 2005 he is recording as Implicate Mind in Finland. Musical influences are very wide with significant prominence of the Techno legends.

Up first we have the aptly titled Loop which delivers a mesmerizing and relentless pacey techno groove. Punchy kicks and bright hats sit over a groovy bassline while an arpeggio synth rattles along. A perfect tool for the more energetic sets.
