Alex Dauriaque (b. 02/23/78) is an Italian-Uruguayan experimental music producer, sound engineer, publicist, visual artist, and audiovisual creator. Influenced by 70s-80s electronic music, Synth Pop, and New Wave, with inspirations from David Bowie, Vince Clarke, Daniel Melero, Jean-Michel Jarre, OMD, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, and Depeche Mode, he merges vintage sounds with contemporary electronic textures. After years of hands-on experimentation, he launched Blue Comander, bringing to life a personal bank of manipulated instruments and sampler-driven textures, crafting music that balances modernity with nostalgic sonic landscapes.

Por su trabajo en Los Planetas, Banin y Florent han sido definidos en ocasiones como la fuerza aérea del grupo, por los arreglos expansivos y flotantes que hacen con teclados y guitarras respectivamente. En sus dos primeros discos instrumentales, "Los Pilotos" y "El regreso de Logan", construyeron paisajes híper-visuales, mediante la combinación de texturas electrónicas y orgánicas en su música.
En 2018 Los Pilotos van a por más y en su nuevo trabajo el viaje metafórico se vuelve un poco más literal, ya que ha sido concebido a partir de sus experiencias e intercambios en América Latina. Su título así lo afirma: “Alianza Atlántica” es el EP de adelanto de un doble LP, en los que la novedad principal es la incorporación de voces, todas de artistas latinoamericanos. Para este adelanto han invitado a participar a Camilo Lara de Mexican Institute of Sound, al argentino Diosque y de Chile a Javiera Mena y Mariana Montenegro del dúo Dënver.
