Purple Velvet are a UK duo whom have been around for a few years now. They've previously released on such labels like Local Talk, Dirt Crew, Large Music, as well as their home base of operations - Secret Reels. "The Live EP", their last offering as Purple Velvet, will be out next month on Kolour LTD, Undertones' sister imprint, and comes with a hot remix of "Live On The Avenue" by Sheffield house producer Thatmanmonkz. With its 2-step rhythm, jazz tones, frantic percussion, some husky vocals and Larry Love's trumpet, this awesome little number is sure to make you wriggle your hips!
