An old school Speed Garage roller, incorporating the sounds of Rave, Jungle and Dubstep, with an iconic vocal over the top. In Yves' own words: “I’ve loved Flowdan ever since I heard Lethal B ‘Pow!’ at school, and his project with The Bug was obviously the inspiration for my version of ‘Stampin’. I’ve always played around with Flowdan acapellas but never quite brought through a full track until now. The energy in his voice is just mad and I wanted to hear it over a classic old school speed garage beat”.

Sobetek means tomar la raíz del folclore atlántico colombiano y lanzarla de lleno a las pistas más futuristas de la electrónica. 

 termina siendo una oda etérea y salvaje a los ritmos clásicos latinos. Merengue, guaracha y champeta deconstruidos, estirados , sin perder nunca esa esencia vital que me hace reconocible al instante.

El disco se siente como un viaje entre lo ancestral y lo vanguardista. Por un lado, resuenan los tambores de la costa, los coros callejeros y las texturas orgánicas que evocan el calor caribeño; por el otro, sintetizadores filosos, bajos contundentes y drops diseñados para incendiar festivales de verano.
