Rusty Knives and Shotguns Feat. Dank Hill

     When you blur the lines of Hip Hop, Folk, Electronica, and R&B, a smudge of heart filled love songs will appear and lift your reality into the tentacles of the Jellyfish Brigade's debut album "Gills and a Helmet".  This six track ego shifter is the result of the harmonious pairing of song writer Lucas Dix and composer Jeffrey Acciaioli. Together, they construct a narrative that weaves through the perfections of the faults and failures that we encounter on a daily basis, while also pointing out the little things that make the struggles worthwhile.  Acciaioli’s hard hitting, emotive instrumentals swirl around Dix’s rapping and singing to create a soundtrack to self-discovery.
     "Gills and a Helmet" is a quest for honesty in the confusion of all of our distractions. Discover the delicate beauty in every mistake while listening to "Well Dwellers".  Escape the buzzing mess and drive of guilt with "Chasing the Shine", and rattle your weaknesses with "Tremor Dancer", as awareness thumps the Richter scale off the charts.

My first complete sampled track ever!  I sampled a track called Precious Things, String Quartet Tribute to Tori Amos.  Used Logic Pro X to chop everything up and my jank ass $10 amazon computer keyboard as my controller.   Tried out some tempo change and some flex time to adjust a couple drum tracks as well.  Let me know what you guys think?
