Hi!  I’m Batobeats.  Producer, Songwriter, Composer, and Mixing/Mastering Engineer.  Prior to that, I served in the US Navy from ‘04-’10 with 1 deployment to North and East Africa (Somali Pirates).  I’ve been a Production/Engineering enthusiast for the past 12 years and am also an eclectic artist.  I play Guitar, Bass, and Piano, which is usually the formula to approaching any project from scratch.  I’m heavily influenced by live analog recording (i.e. Erykah Badu, D’Angelo), although my heart is in early Hip-Hop/Boom-Bap.  My favorite album/artist (to date) is Lauryn Hill.  An engineer I look up to is Analog Guru Russel Elevado.
