Over the years, Berlin has been cited as Oliver Koletzki's main point of reference and, more importantly, his endless source of inspiration. His albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 are wholehearted tributes of the German capital, as its importance is continuously hinted and charted. Friedrichshain, one of Berlin's vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Oliver's heart. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Kreuzberg's wall paintings adorn Stil vor Talent's cover sleeves and host their headquarters. There are little to no corners in the city that haven't brought a spark of inspiration into the mix. The first track “Acid in my tea” is a caustic slice of wiry techno emitting an electronic buzz defined by deep rhythmic bass and floating pads to carry the track through, together with pronounced detailed broken beats giving the track an elegant edge.

“Chronic” hovers towards darker shades and mysterious synths to compliment the underlying hypnotic percussions into a trippy roller upper. A vast wall of eerie sound sculpts the framework for the title track “Cosmic Principles” assaulted by rapid-fire of percussive bangs leading unto a transcendent path of sonic manipulation. 

Fast-paced rough kicks, unique catchy synths on a bed of classic 909 sounds produced by Decoder for his remix of "Acid in my tea" celebrates the beauty of outer space, alternate dimensions, and science fiction. Wrapping up this offing with an Alexskyspirit remix for "Chronic", an ambient techno tale of a digital cyber-future showcasing ethereal dance floor weaponry for those early nights or late mornings.

About the release
The fourth edition of deep dip releases brings an innovative collaboration between Maywell and the label bosses Minders.
This debuting release starts with a driving bassline that inaugurates the energy of the track. The progressive notes follow a rising melody which is topped with vocals that elevate the track to a new level of emotion.
A hand-raising series of engaging pads and melodies are subsequent by a drop that shakes the masses. Ominous effects reverberate in and out of the track, an excellent compendium of sounds that keeps moving forward.

Argentinian duo Biotech Patagonia return on Moonchild Records after having debuted on the label last summer with their remix for A Skitzo's Against Us single. This time they carry the weight of a solo release titled 'Iceland EP' which features two originals + two remixes by Hacobb and Unseen.

The title track is a mysterious, deep and melancholic piece of work featuring a beautiful eerie vocal. Modern Agenda / Blaufield / MNL artist Hacobb takes the deep and dark sound of the original but turns it into an uplifting, intelligent progressive house mover, whilst the Unseen. duo goes for a more stripped down and intense approach.

Tassilo is the second original by Biotech Patagonia. A melodic techno track full of interesting sounds and a proper builder, very mature sounding!

Following on from the massive success of the ‘Chilling Moments’ remixes, Agnosia label boss Choopie now collaborates with Tom Kin on a three track showcase of progressive club sounds. Title track ‘Licht’ is immediately striking with it’s warm driving groove, smooth astral arps and cinematic overlays. The narrative evolves with a siren-like lead rising into the main break, raising tension with timely modulation as the groove drops for a huge finale.

‘Invisible Bodies’ follows with an equally impressive dance floor appeal. The low end stands out from the start; warm and rippling, setting the perfect foundation for an array of finely tuned percussion and acid-like lines to drive momentum forward. Emotive chord changes highlight the main break, bringing a nostalgic atmosphere, before melting down into a percussion drop. The release concludes with the mind bending sounds of ‘Aum’. Staying true to the energetic, peak time ethos of the release, it’s a maze of percussion and quirky yet emotive melodies which shines here, making for an excellent piece to close out the release. Highly recommended.

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds.
