Legobrix

Hailing from Essex, QUBIKS’s sound is a kaleidoscopic post-house clash of loops and glitchy percussive beats, overlaid with lush synths and subtle melodies. QUBIK first started creating electronic music in the late nineties with collaborations with Matt O’Brien and Alien. Solo tracks followed with several vinyl releases via Off Key Records.

Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail:
My first ever music was created on a Commadore Amiga 500+ using OctaMED for the music production and MasterSound for the sampling.

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
The first memorable moment I feel is, when I gained my first fan. Thank you for all your support!

Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Yes, there is. I would like to build a professional studio.

It is exciting, special and meaningful to create original music. If we don't create, then who will? We are the creators and we will continue to create innovative music that benefits and uplifts humanity. We must continue to create, evolve and revolutionize the world through music!

Scratch Kelly constructs a synthesis of dark ambient, industrial and wave music. She creates a diverse sonic landscape, from brutal and unforgiving industrial sounds to dreamy dark wave territory marked by melodic synth bass so deep you could drown in it. Her music is designed to bring a sense of realisation, contemplation and healing to the darker places of the psyche.
