Hubrid & Vulta - Fusion (Feat. Dimi Kaye) (Microchip Terror Remix)

This is a commission piece I completed a while ago where I was asked to emulate (yes you guessed it) Stranger Things! 

My microKorg is the real star of this piece, emulating all kinds of classic synth sounds to deliver ominous atmosphere reminiscent of what Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein offered up for the original soundtrack.

Belgium based artist Stieglitz broke onto the Darksynth/Synthwave scene in 2018 with a fantastic debut album titled 'For The Love Of The Living Dead'. Now, almost a year and a half later, Stieglitz is back with his second album “Burn The Night Away’ and what an impressive follow-up this is!

In addition to his trademark rocking guitars and groovy parts, this time the Belgian artist decided to experiment with vocals too, adding a New Wave flavor as well to his already multi-dimensional songwriting. 

‘Burn The Night Away’ is a fine example of creativity working in perfect harmony with talent and musical maturity. Even though it channels and draws influences from many different bands and musical genres of the ‘80s (Synth music, Heavy Metal, New Wave) Stieglitz never loses his head or gets over-ambitious. He remains grounded throughout the album, finding that perfect balance between the different moods, styles and sounds and constantly maintaining the dynamics and flow that separate great from good albums.

Electronic producer d.notive has been at the forefront innovative sound design for well over a decade. Entranced by the lush and dynamic soundscapes of the 1980's, his aesthetic borrows heavily from the cinematic imagery of Neo-noir, classic alternative music, and of course synthpop.

Leveraging a rich, illustrious backdrop of classic synthesizers, his work includes countless pop songs and dance tracks, video game soundtracks, cartoon fan music, and film scores, drawing comparisons to artists like Depeche Mode, New Order, and Duran Duran.

His critically acclaimed album Sentinel has enjoyed consistent rotation thanks to synthwave outlets like NewRetroWave, with the first single "Red Light Syndrome" debuting at the #7 spot on their weekly charts. He has also been a regular collaborator with FiXT records, appearing alongside artists Cassetter, Fury Weekend, and Scandroid. Additionally, he maintains a close relationship with Funky Way Records (the official label of Funky Panda,) and Laserdiscs Records as a noted contributor to the original soundtrack for UK-based independent film "The Summoner." 

His signature vocal style even earned him a leading role in a short animation by Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss animator Vivienne "Vivziepop" Medrano.
