Wind Horse Records is elated to announce a new EP - Neon Grooves. This is the 33rd EP by Wind Horse Records and the inspiration behind it has been taken from a label showcase that happened in Goa in December 2016. In an effort to spread quality house music across India, the label launched a party called the ‘The Wind Horse Experience’ and the ‘Neon Grooves’ edition in Goa was the first time they had organized an event such as this. The label’s party soon became the place for all house music lovers, especially those searching for a more groovy, funky, and ethnic vibe, complimented of course by Goan sunsets and starry nights. Wind Horse were were thrilled to see the reaction of people to their sound given that Goa is more known for a harder vibe. The line up consisted of DJs that have produced music for Wind Horse over the years and a couple of international guests. After the success of ‘Neon Grooves’ Wind Horse decided to make an EP around this party to remember the magical moment and keep the memory alive. The label invited the artists that performed at the party to borrow from the energy cultivated then and create a beautiful journey to embark on the now.

The EP opens with the dutch maestro Thee J Johanz and his remix of “Agama” by Umeme. A real intricate work of art here with its afro vocal vibe weaved into more raw analog elements that evolve and alternate in the midst of a drum-tastic, exotic, and tribal-influenced disco bomb. “Neon Afro” by Hamza goes deeper into the tropics with the thrilling combination of percussion and drums with a sprinkling of sweet melodic uplifting elements, teleporting the listener to a sunny beach. “Khawatta Ceremony” by Farhan Rehman (Mumbai) and Stalvart John (Bangalore) is a bit harder, a bit darker. This synth-track will have the dance floor grooving with its refreshing vocals and echoey chord progressions. “Antares” (also the name of the place Wind Horse hosted Neon Grooves in Goa) by Troja (Mumbai) is a change of tempo with a beautiful, ethereal sort of sound formed by warm Indian ethnic instruments and meditative melodies. Oma (Delhi) turns his track up with “One Shade Brighter”. A happy bouncy bass with solid vocals teleports the listener back to the beach party, but with a deeper edge. “Whisky Flask” by Nigel Perera (Sri Lanka) changes up the beat with a groovy number consisting of beautiful chords and twisted sounds, the perfect beach-side sunset tune. To end the journey, Priyesh Patil (Mumbai) brings “Vagabond” with smooth beats and beautiful sax samples and a deep bass to guide the floor right into the horizon.

D-Nox & Beckers belong to a unique group of producers that are loved by many DJ’s of different genres, from the deeper Berlin area to the full on progressive gang - a unique and enviable position to be in!

Their discography is made of countless hits that made them top seller on many prestigious imprints and for the comeback on Sudbeat they prepared two new originals that are certainly destined to be on this infamous list of successful records.

‘Mitsubishi’ is a swaggeringly cool groove, with its housey classic percussion meeting a tasty top line that tinkles constantly, getting under your skin, before the melodic and phat bassy tones adding depth and energy to the musical concoction. A sprinkling of wobbly synths and some Detroit-like tinges take this gem to yet another level. 

‘Hotaru’ is a mysterious and tripped out mystical workout, spacious and with a groove that just keeps rolling along, encased by cool FX and trippy sounds, some neat drum fills and deep thought provoking arp that really sets the tone. The filthy synth lands adds more mystique and helps the track pick up pace and energy, that engulfs your mind before you’ve realised what is happening.

A renowned talent with global support from fans and peers alike, Juan Deminicis showcased an array of skills and beautiful melodies with "Life on the Moon". Returning to the EP, new remixes find German, Brazilian and Australian stars firmly in the spotlight.

An artist with a sizeable reputation over a number of years, Christian Wedekind is a name familiar to the underground community with his D-Nox soubriquet. A global DJ phenomenon with performances across his German home from the 1990s onwards and across Brazil, Japan, Mexico and Australia, his work with Beckers saw the duo thrill audiences with mesmerising sets and expertly-crafted sonic voyages. Almost 500 production credits tell their own story across some of the finest imprints that include Suara, Tronic, Bedrock and D-Nox's own, Sprout Music. Supported by a global elite that includes, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Dave Seaman, D-Nox joins forces with the multi-talented Brazilian artist, ZAC, himself a renowned DJ and producer featured on the likes of Sony Music and Universal.

Thus, the D-Nox and ZAC remix creates a strong dance-floor intensity as a fast-paced rhythm entices with rapid-fire percussion and rolling snare fills. Building effortlessly, an identity with the original emerges as the familiar melodic refrains of "Life in the Moon" bounce across a near eight-minute piece in new intriguing cadence. Full of melodic flourish at the mid-point breakdown, the driving rhythm and intelligently worked melodic groove hit the heights once again in the third movement.

The powerhouse pairing of Gavin Griffin and Matty Doyle have seen the Australian duo create a magnetic forcefield that has attracted huge support and attention since they first joined forces on the "Superposition" EP for Proton Music in May 2016. Hugely successful in their own rights with original and remix work for both Particles and the flagship imprint, June 2017's "Osmosis" and August 2018's "Interscope" EPs continued to showcase production talent of the highest order. A trio of remixes of Pete K's "Utopia", Andre Sobota's "Unmute" and Rudy's "Time" provided another window on the pair's talent in late 2016, 2017 and 2018 and it is thus a genuine pleasure to welcome them back for a fourth outing on the remix trail.

Supplying yet another moment of magic, GMJ and Matter take "Tao the King" on a sumptuous journey redolent in rolling bass groove and steam-powered white noise effects with their 'Royalty Remix'. A glittering and delayed motif appears at the start of the second movement as a swathe of new counterpoint melodic lines entwine effortlessly with original components. Hitting new heights at a rousing crescendo with pulsating intensity, the track explodes in a glorious rhythmic groove that illustrates precisely why GMJ and Matter are such sought-after producers.

Remixes from D-Nox and Zac and GMJ and Matter have developed a dynamic and vibrant "Life on the Moon".

If music was a meditation, ‘Mindtrip’ sits in the realm of the liminal: traversing boundaries, borders and polarities. 
An invitation to delve into the (master)mind of Marco Biagini a.k.a Kellerkind, his third studio album is a therapeutic peregrination of sorts, as the Swiss producer channels the ups and downs on the roller coaster of human experience. 

And what a time to be released: as the world turns inwards for a time of solitude, reset and reflection, this must be the soundtrack. 

Drawing inspiration from the radio, to days-gone-by in the club, to his much favoured ‘hang’ or hand pan, Kellerkind weaves these influences into this twelve track album, displaying the full spectrum of his musical wizardry.
This is where we see Kellerkind come into his own. The album develops organically. Anthemic turbulence builds dramaturgy, releasing into gentle flow which offers a subtle sense of solace.

Multifaceted high notes ring out in spacious, almost reverent tones, with slick synths traversing soaring, monastic soundscapes. Like life itself, these highs are contrasted with the lowest of bass-heavy reverbs: grimy, resonant, deep.

Collaborations include “The Mesmerising Circle,” the fruit of a dalliance with maestro Oliver Koletzki - in synchronistic alignment the original melody composed by Koletzki includes the handpan, which features heavily throughout the album. ‘Uyezwa’ features the divine vocals of Zimbabwean singer Oluhle.

Meditative, introspective, emotive: ‘Mindtrip’ takes Kellerkind out of the club to deliver a dose of sonic space-holding.

The message? Take a trip into your own mind: let music be thy medicine, and medicine be thy music.

D-Nox (born 06 December 1975) is a German DJ/producer and 1 time DJ Awards winner whose career in electronic music spans well over 25 years. Everything started for him with the electronic scene in his hometown of Düsseldorf in the early 90ties, branding his mark in the music community by also being a part of the duo D-Nox & Beckers who are responsible for various club hits since 2004 and are still currently releasing 16 years later on prestigious labels such as Bedrock, Suara and Sudbeat to name a few, as well as through D-Nox’s own record label Sprout Music. 
D-Nox has brought his sound all around the world with his international bookings as a DJ, keeping him constantly on the move with his travels every weekend, through Europe, down to Australia, across the Americas, and around Asia and Africa. D-Nox has an exceptionally outstanding career in Brazil where he has his biggest fan community.
D-Nox was born in East Germany, but his family escaped to the West of Germany before the wall went down in 1989. As a young boy, he fed his interest in music by recording music on cassette tapes, as there was no way to buy records in East Germany. It was only in the time that he and his family moved to the West, that he got access to all the music which he had been recording on tapes and this is when his real passion for collecting music was born. In the early 90ties he started to go out and meet people from the nightlife scene of his new hometown Düsseldorf. Düsseldorf has always played an important role in the underground music scene. Many important bands such as Kraftwerk come from Düsseldorf.
With the first money that D-Nox made after he had left school, he was able to buy himself all of the important equipment needed to start the art of mixing vinyl records.
Around 1992 was the first time he got booked to play in a nightclub and by 1993 he became a professional DJ. These early years made D-Nox one of the most booked DJs in his region, with numerous gigs in his hometown and other cities near by. In 2001 he started to work as A&R for the record label Tatsu. This job taught him even more about the music scene and inspired him to start his own record label Sprout Music in 2003.
In 2004 he met Beckers and both started the form the famous duo D-Nox & Beckers which was responsible for many underground club hits such as „Jetlag Slave“, „Memory Cell“, „Seven Hours“ and many others. In 2007 the duo D-Nox & Beckers won the price for best selling progressive house artist in Beatport.com and in 2010 the duo won the DJ award for best progressive house artist. 
D-Nox & Beckers have released 3 albums; in 2007 “Left Behind”, in 2009 “Big City Lights” and in 2011 “Distance”. Since 2004 the duo have released more than 50 EPs and made over 70 remixes. Until today, D-Nox & Beckers still receive a lot of recognition and respect, and continue to play shows all around the world together.  But due D-Nox’s change of location in 2016 when he moved to South America, he is now focusing again on his solo gigs, with current shows booked in Germany, Belgium, Japan, Turkey, Israel, Australia, Russia, Poland, Costa Rica, Hungary, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Argentina and many more to follow.  
Along with D-Nox’s change of location from Germany to South America, a few new collaboration partnerships in the studio were formed. One of them together with Victor Ruiz, one of the most demanded DJs of today.  Together Victor and D-Nox produced ‘Arise’ which was released on Sudbeat Recordings in 2016, the label belonging to Hernan Cattaneo. This track became one of the most played tracks in sets of DJ’s all around the world. They followed up this release, with a second best seller in 2017 on Sudbeat from Victor Ruiz and D-Nox, called ‚Pure’. Another new collaboration made with Stereo Underground, a very well respect producer from Israel „Dolby“ has reached number 1 in Beatport, the world wide leading digital store for DJs and was holding the top position for over 3 month. The pandemic month have d-nox become way more creative in his studio than he ever was before and his discography has just grown bigger and bigger. Its is now over 20 years that D-Nox is traveling all around the world and keeps on moving the dance floors.
D-Nox came out quite strong of the pandemic years and all the time he had spent well during those month off brought more shows and new fans. The years 2022/23 sent to to over 20 countries and his single „Dolby“ with Stereo Underground managed to stay 3 month on top 1 of the Beatport sale charts.
In 2023 D-Nox is celebrating his 30 years as a professional dj and he keeps touring the world. 
By now, D-Nox and/or D-Nox & Beckers have played many mayor festivals such as Rainbow Serpent, Ozora, Fusion, Tribe, Boom,  ADE, Love Parade, Tomorrowland, Lollapaloza, Loveland, Extrema to name a few and  many important clubs around the world, such as Stereo, Womb, the Bow, Dedge, Pacha, The Block, Warung, Ame, and so on, stoking up gigs in over 70 countries, this duo belongs to the most important underground dance music products from Germany.
