Since his first real experience with electronic music and culture that surrounded it at 17, Smiles (Aka Dan) Davis knew he'd found home. 

Today, nearly 17 years (half his lifetime) later his undoubtable obsession to play music, produce it and help shape the experience around it has only grown stronger.

Smile’s distinctive sound flourishes from the heart of house with his music and DJ performance providing a dynamic ride into a wide & meaningful spectrum of electronica.

As his name given to him implies, you can count on him to always put his heart & soul into a creating a memorable vibe.

the music is like a DEEP visual journey that takes you somewhere without traveling.

This is music for people who are tired of the usual pastiche of Dj driven dross. The rhythms, beats, sounds triggered live, transformed in real-time for your dancing or lounging pleasure.

Diversity in his mixes also applies in his productions, always changing with the times.

 He has dropped his own tracks live all over the country at his favorite stomping grounds such as; Rainbow Serpent festival 2007, A collective Future, This is not Art Festival, and Adelaide Fringe Festival. He has performed at clubs such as revolver in Melbourne, and Minki Bar in Adelaide. He has also produced for film.
