There is a moment, imperceptible and fleeting, when the soul realizes it has no direction. It is in that instant that the search begins. "In Search of Purpose" is not an answer, but a question that repeats itself, reflecting, dissolving, and returning—never fully disappearing.
The first notes are hesitant steps on a path veiled in uncertainty. Each sound lingers in the air, caught between the desire to move forward and the fear of finding nothing at all. The piano does not tell a story—it listens. It is the breath of possibility, the echo of something just beyond reach.
Beneath the melody, the bass moves like a silent river—at times tranquil, at times restless. The harmonies fracture, chase one another, searching but never quite touching. Every chord is a crossroad, every dissonance a doubt made flesh.
And then, a flash. A thought, perhaps an illusion. The melody lifts for a moment, as if it has grazed the edge of some hidden truth. But truth, as we know, is a reflection on water—one breath is enough to scatter it into a thousand ripples.
There is no resolution, because there cannot be. The search continues, an endless cycle of what we are and what, perhaps, we will never be.
