Handstitched* album preview for the forthcoming album by Bill Seaman & Stephen Spera, titled- "Architectures Of Light"

After following each other in differing capacities, both musically and visually, the two have connected for the new Handstitched* release "Architectures Of Light". As with all good collaborations, Seaman and Spera found a method that worked best for their musical-output, an organic flow and process that allowed the songs to breathe naturally with time and space.

Sending each other libraries of potential ideas, then building up layers of sounds, adding to each other's work as time progressed. Multiple iterations created by each artist on the album formed the audible backbone and it was added-to, and/or broken-down to form alternative viewpoints, resulting in moments of slowly formed movements which evolve without escaping the focus of the audience's attention.

There is a depth in the work of Seaman and Spera that is noticeable in the form of languages and interpretation, using found-sound, evocative vocal samples from past archives and degraded/fluctuating tape loops. Two songs have accompanying visual works, one produced by Seaman and one by Spera, both videos marry the visual and musical language found inside the music with dream-like and organic representations for each respective work.

Lee Clarke has been known to have a unique style which ranges from deep house to techno, this comes from his many influences over the years. His main accolade being the owner and founder of the event brand, record label and radio show, Tahanan, with a strict policy of, 'Good People, Great Music'. This slogan epitomises Lee as an artist and is what has seen him gain huge respect within the industry.

A teaser of our first release, the auditory short story and concept album by Michael Diamond, coalescing the best of the jazz and electronic worlds into one seamless composition spanning ethereal jazz-breaks, introspective two-step, sax-driven power ambient and world-building, storytelling electronica. The record features saxophonist, close friend and long-standing collaborator Alex Wilson. 

Third Culture is accompanied by a literary short story by writer and close friend of Michael's Áine Kim Kennedy. Inspired by and crafted solely for the album, it explores conflicted feelings surrounding 'Third Culture' through the medium of words. A copy is included with each record purchase. 

Similarly, Oscar McNab & Co. have produced a short film which visually depicts Áine's short story. Music, literature, film and art come together on this album to deliver a message far greater than the sum of its parts. 

Resident Vasuki Sound artist Abigail Hodges channeled the moods of the LP into her series of artworks for the LP and its singles. A1 posters are available through our Bandcamp.
