DBS started producing their own tracks at the age of 16. After trying out several sub-genres of electronic dance music, including drum and bass, dubstep and house, in 2015 he started to focus on minimalistic techno beats which he started playing himself with a Hercules DJ controller. DJing as a hobby quickly turned into a passion for life. In 2018 he became interested in harder techno and started his first recordings and uploaded them on Soundcloud. D-Shadow, Born on May 30, 1997 born in the vibrant Country of Mexico. From a very young age, D-Shadow, whose real name is Emmanuel, showed a deep passion for electronic music. Inspired by very popular artists in the 2000s like Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Daft Punk, and many others, he never gave up on his dream despite growing up in a challenging environment. Currently living in Ontario, Canada, he remains proud of his Mexican heritage.

D-Shadow's journey into music began in his adolescence when he started watching YouTube videos to learn how to produce music. Since then, he has tried different sub-genres of electronic music, experimenting with his own style.

Some of his most popular songs include "Amapolas" and "I Love You."

D-Shadow's impact goes beyond music. He is known for his efforts to keep learning every day to improve his music production.
