Release Info: 

A new release on the Sourcecode imprint, this time by Lyctum.  Hailing from the mysterious and terrestrial depths of Serbia, Dejan Jovanovic is a prolific producer and a quickly rising, psychonautical powerhouse.  Perfectly synthesizing reinvigorated aspects of Goa Trance and brain-rippling Psychedelia, his latest EP, "Space Travel", explores the primordial spirit of sound and interstellar incantations that entice one's synapses to surge.  

This latest exhibition of vibratory voyages is nothing short of extraordinary.  It's not too often that you happen upon a musical release that is affluent in such monolithic modulations and has the intention of helping the listener access higher attuned frequencies and telepathically traverse space and time.  Although it is only three tracks, the thematic and underlying motifs of a more profound existence are extremely evident!

This EP can best be summarized in saying the phrase, "Symphonic Sonic Stimulation", as these three extraterrestrial expeditions seamlessly flow together and coalesce to form a musical mosaic that actively engages the listener.  Needless to say, there are greater schematics at play here.  This is not your typical "Psytrance", it is far more cerebral and embodies a purified polyphonic system.  

The divinity of dexterity showcased within these three musical manifestations is truly astonishing and Lyctum's celestially inspired craft is definitely one to be in awe of. 
Be on the lookout for more stargazing soundscapes and metaphysical mechanics, from Sourcecode's roster!!

I thought the Original was a lil bit too Housey seeing as the Film was Quite Dark.
So here's my Remix of it with my Sinister Twist.
I also slowed it down a bit .. the Original was 143 BPM i think and I Decided to go with 140 BPM.

No Echos were harmed in the production of this track.
Although the feedback got seriously abused.

Kayosa & Tolland - Look Around (Original Mix)

Russell Ogden better known as Akira Kayosa, has been working with Glasgow based producer and close friend Hugh Tolland since 2006, releasing material of all forms on a host of respected labels. Both being well known within trance circles for the more uplifting end of the spectrum when working together, this time the guys show their hand down the more progressive route with a slow burning emotive record which fits the bill for their debut together on the ITWT label. 

‘Small Something’ pulls down the tempo and strips back the complexities of normal trance leaving behind the raw emotion, gritty synth work with weaving arpeggiated  lead lines that makes this track tick. Pizz@dox is on hand to deliver a superbly crafted more up tempo reworking of  the original to round off this release in style.
