My dear people 

As this year just ending and new one is knocking at our doors , it is  time to sit ,look back and say thank you .

after cover days its more easy to realize that Nothing in our life can be taken for granted , we have to be awake ,listen to our hearts and say thank you million times.

Thanks to the first morning breath we take  , to the sun that shines, to the falling rain, to the people who loves us ,our friends, families, and to our inner child .

Last year i didnt do this mix cos  its just didnt feel natural to me doing it in  between covid days and lockdowns of 2021 

this mix symbols me freedom ,symbols me a year full of dreams , spirit ,people dancing ,loving ,dreaming ,sharing moments and endless time together , i have so many beautiful memories while playing this tracks  in 2022  and this mix always  helps me to preserve some of them . 

i wish you happy new year , to love and to be loved , to be happy inside and outside , to spend time huging and being surround with people that fill you up with a cosmic energy .

I made this mix for my friend Dan Balogh (Dak) to highlight some of his great work in the studio. I used five of his tracks in various places throughout the set. The idea behind this mix was to weave his music into the being and essence of motion... to feel the energy of intense rhythm and movement... to listen, think, and dance my way toward the light.

A house music fan and DJ for many years, I first began buying house and techno records in Glasgow, Scotland, when I was there as an exchange student. Then I returned to Chicago and DJed for about ten years (as DJ Devo), spinning at great clubs all over the city, such as Red No.5, Crobar, Smartbar, Zentra, Soundbar, and of course, a hundred loft, rave, and after-hour parties. Now I live in Louisville, but I still enjoy keeping some good vinyl (and downloads) on rotation. All of the mixes (except the latest, Release the Soul) were made exclusively with records and turntables, even the set I played with CID Inc at Primary in Chicago. Enjoy!
