"Circus founder Yousef celebrates a hat trick as he unleashes his third release with Defected to the masses. A sure-fire club hit from the mind behind ‘Beg’ whose previous releases have all seen such significant success that they have earned the Liverpudlian a reputation that is second to none. ‘I See’ is a powerfully emotive cut built around Charli Taft’s beautifully melancholic voice which this talented producer coalesces with warm melodic synths and a creative usage of brass samples accomplishing a delightfully enchanting outcome. Shadow Child provides his own unique spin to the track by fashioning Taft’s vocals around the signature Dirtybird inimitability, in this case an orchestral build up into a thudding lo-fi bassy hook accompanied by his distinctively energetic usage of hats and snare. On the other hand the rendition by The Crooked Man layers various sounds into a complicated brew of wonky and dark elements that exhibits the imaginative creativity of such an experienced and longstanding producer. For their latest release, the Beatport chart-topping duo Tube & Berger are joined by the talented and passionate Juliet Sikora whose role whether at the label, in the studio or in front of a crowd has made her an invaluable asset to the Kittball imprint.
‘Set It Off’ is an archetypal demonstration of the trio’s flair for creating depth within a production. Inspired by Strafe’s 1984 electro funk classic on the same name and spanning everything from retro-synths to techy elements the track is a true illustration of their wide musical compass, with an organic sounding guitar reflecting their early roots in punk music. Never ones to rest on their laurels, this cut is a further string to their evermore impressive bow, coming as it does at the tail end of Tuber & Berger’s most triumphant year to date with a momentum they will unquestionably carry on into the next.

Pünktlich zu Beginn der warmen Jahreszeit gibt’s für unsere liebste Luise ein neues Sommerkleid aus dem sie so schnell wohl nicht wieder rauswächst. Von ihrem vorlauten Freund hochglanzpoliert und rundgeschliffen strahlt das kleine schwarze Stückchen Gold nur so vor Gemütlichkeit. 
Mit Hang zur Berliner Feinsinnigkeit haben uns die Dürerstuben zwei warme Tracks geschraubt: Sonnenblut Am Platz der Perlen (A1) ist ein Sommerstrahler vor dem Herrn. Zur Hälfte gespickt mit der Schwermütigkeit eines langen und harten Winters in der Großstadt, zur Anderen erfüllt mit der Wonne der ersten warmen Sonnenstrahlen des Jahres ist dieser Track auf jedem Open Air das richtige Mittel alle noch so müden Lebensgeister zu wecken. 
Treffend als Hiphouse bezeichnet liefern die Jungs mit Tira Mi Su (A2) einen chilligen Track für laue Sommerabende in gemütlicher Runde und verweisen dabei auf ihre Wurzeln. 
Den Remix von Sonnenblut am Platz der Perlen (B1) kommt von unserem Freund und Kupferstecher, ostfriesischem Wahlberliner und Familienmitglied Constantijn Lange. Mit einer farbenfrohen Portion Clubanstrich ohne dabei den Vibe des Originals aus den Ohren zu verlieren lädt seine Neuinterpretation selbst mit Dach über dem Kopf dazu ein Körper und Geist in Bewegung zu halten.

is an electronic music band producing and live performing a top notch housy music with a vintage touch.

Montpellier based D15COM8 are a 3 person electronic music band, who in only a matter of months have already found their music released on NTFO’s Sintope Digital label, Tobus Limited, Dear Deer Records and Kolombo’s LouLou Records – with a forthcoming EP on Kumasi due out in April. 
Gaining support from the likes of Pleasurekraft, NTFO, Kolombo, Vanilla Ace, Doctor Dru their productions are consistently accomplished as demonstrated in this a 45 minute live show.

Ok, their sound smells like old Disco and Funk classics but don't be fooled here : The best New York producer techniques are at the center of their productions and make possible to achieve such a huge and detailled sound.
For those who can handle technique talk, we love real instruments, the sound of tape recorders and solid state console, buss or parallel compression and the human character provided by hot analog component warmth and distortion.
