If Life Were a Tree is one of my earliest songs and a reflection of my deep love for nature. Written almost as a meditation, it uses the metaphor of a tree to represent the different stages and scars of life—roots as the past, bark as the wounds, blossoms as love, and branches as the people we meet along the way.

The song blends Native American–inspired powwow drums and flute with elements of folk and soul, creating a spiritual, earthy atmosphere. At its heart, it’s about gratitude, resilience, and the beauty of life’s cycles, even in loss. Gentle, poetic, and rooted in respect for the natural world, this song captures how I see myself as just a whisper in the wind of a greater whole.
