Hi friends,
It's been a while, so here's the first 4 hours from my set at Stereo Montreal
Just a few words about that night: First of all, I had high expectations about playing in that legendary room. So many great DJs have played there, and many consider it the best club in the world. 
From the moment I started playing a few records, I found myself drawn to improvise to a more hypnotic, patient storytelling vibe rather than a straightforward approach. The amazing crowd made me feel like I could really take my time to build things up, so that’s exactly what I did—dark, hypnotic house & techno with groove.

Guilty Pleasures 3

This set starts off with some Organic House at around 117 bpm.  The tempo slowly picks up to 122 bpm about an hour in as I transition to Afro House and then finish off with some Progressive and Melodic tracks.  Generally, I played nine tracks before going through 80% of "Dan's Radio 007" setlist, then played another 20 some tracks after.  This set steadily picks up in energy and goes for nearly 4 hours.  This was DJ'd live at Craft Connoisseur's on May the Fourth!

What Is Music

This set was recorded live aboard my good friend, Martin's boat, "The Backyard", cruising from Lake Union through the Montlake Cut and out into Lake Washington on a perfect summer Saturday in Seattle.

This chill voyage quickly turned into full-on party mode, weaving through the swarms of paddleboarders with tech house grooves bumping, the skipper put the throttle down once we hit open water, and I kept DJing.  The goal was to drop hook near Kirkland where the wind likes to funnel through for a day of sun, kiteboarding, and celebrating a friend's birthday.

The vibe? Pure summer boat party energy!  Expect driving tech house, vocal hooks, remixes of some classics, and a splash of Afro house. This one rides the line between sun-drenched and sweat-soaked, and it’s meant to be played loud!

If you find yourself needing to decompress after listening to this set all the way through, I highly recommend "Chill the 4th Out" in the cue to be played next.  This set compliments The Backyard set as a nice palate cleansing breather as it opens with smooth melodic house.  Careful, stick around too long and the fireworks start again ;)

Summer Mix 2019

If art decorates space, music decorates time. As a DJ-this is just a hobby-my goal in recording sets is to create a soundtrack to life: theme music for my adventures. I embrace an inclusive approach to genres, refusing to limit myself to any specific style; my broad taste allows me to explore many types of music, ensuring a unique experience for every set.

These sets take the listener on a journey-not my journey, but yours. It could be a voyage in your mind or a hike with headphones on. I am just a messenger who curates a selection of songs created by very talented producers.

Sometimes, the tracks I select resonate with the emotions I am feeling. Other times, I read the room, and my goal is to create an enjoyable experience for the audience. Often, I discover a new favorite track that really slaps, and I include it in a set so I can enjoy it fully, along with complementary tracks leading up to the new favorite, guiding the listener back into Earth's orbit afterward.

Recently, I crafted "Dan's Radio 008" as a thoughtful gift, featuring a favorite track, "I Can't Save You," alongside my personal favorite, "Salve in the Mist." This mix isn't just about the music; it’s a harmonious bridge that captures my creativity and passion.

By the way, I am a Civil Engineer by profession. My journey has taught me the value of community and togetherness, reflecting my desire to connect with others through the universal language of music. I hope you enjoy the sounds, and I'd love to hear your feedback.
