“The Professor” Isaac G has been pushing underground bass music for two decades. He first fell in love with Jungle, and earned a name as both a DJ and MC playing events throughout the midwest. In 1999, he relocated to the East Coast, and was bitten by the 2-Step UKG bug and started to push the deeper/darker sounds that would become dubstep. After a brief hiatus, he returned to the scene on Remote Signal, 8FX’s UK-based radio show, and later on Dubplate.fm. His sets typically mix elements of forward-thinking Dancehall, UK Bass, Funky, Garage, and Jungle. In 2016, he played London's Notting Hill Carnival on the Rough But Sweet Soundsystem. He was a resident for Datswotsup! Detroit.
