Theme: Mother’s death and the spiritual tearing that changed me forever.
This is the soul-breaker. The moment my mum died from cancer, my whole world collapsed. It wasn’t quick; it was a slow, painful fade that ripped the second umbilical cord: the one that connects a man to the woman who made him. Simbi is gone. Nini Binni is gone. Now Mother is gone. My family fractured.
This track isn’t just grief; it’s that hollow, shaking moment when you realise nothing in the world can protect you from finality.
And in that breaking, you awaken.
The pain didn’t just hurt; it awakened the spirit in me.

When The Cord Broke

Coffee & Commute Vol. 1 is a faith-filled morning EP designed for believers who start their day with God and step into the world with purpose. Built on warm trap grooves, lush neo-soul chords, and a velvety, fluid bassline, this project blends spiritual grounding with everyday momentum.
