Bart Skils returns to Drumcode with his third solo release, ‘Shadowprint’. Consisting of Bart’s famous rolling drums and bass rhythms he has crafted an EP that is exceptionally functional. With each track Bart has added character by introducing vocals, interesting melodies and deep percussion to keep it interesting. The EP is made up of 3 peak time tracks that are eloquently put together. ‘My Part Of Town’ is a bit deeper from Bart and contrast’s well to the rest of the EP with it’s melodic bass line.

Alles hat ein Ende, nur die CROOKED… auch. Am 24.04.15 endet das Projekt CROOKED-Cologne, wo es begann: im Artheater Köln.

Justice, Soulwax, Boys Noize, Tiga, Jack Beats oder Proxy, bekannt aus Myspace und MTV. Furiose, tanzbare und emotionale Elektromusik im Dickicht zwischen French Touch, Nu-Rave und Maximal-Techno. 2009 bekam diese Musik ein eigenes Nest: Die CROOKED Cologne im Artheater.
Doch nach drei Jahren wilder Rotation fiel in unserem Kopf aufgrund von „WARP“ by Steve Aoki & The Bloody Beetroots ein Sack Reis um, weshalb die CROOKED-Crew spontan neue Wege ging. So zum Beispiel in der Papierfabrik, im Bogen 2, in einem Linienbus und bei dem Kumpel von dem Dingens auf dem Hof. Diesdas.

Doch wo war der Schlussstrich? Edding leer?

Machen wir es kurz: Die letzte CROOKED ever steht an. Rewind. Alles auf Anfang, selbe Location, selbe Zeit, dasselbe Team. Equalizer egal. Rakete!
