	
With "Give In To Love" birdpaula recomposes the puzzle of her singular and fertile life with an ever-varied musical score always suited to the expression of her true and profound identity: that of a multi-faceted artist in love with freedom. This independence becomes the lever of the catchy songs on the album - as in the cheeky impudence of "Bird Will Fly”, recalling Nancy Sinatra in her heyday. birdpaula skillfully conjures up musical references and styles as in the 60’s soul feel of "Take the Sway Train," to the playful mix of surrealism, boogie-woogie and ragtime in the joyous and kaleidoscopic "Picnic Party." It is as if the eye of the painter, fond of certain colors, connects with the musician’s palette of atmospherique soundscapes. And so "Sensuality" is never far from her admiration for Marvin Gaye, whereas "Diamonds To Light" or "Where is My Heart" echoes the feminine singer-songwriters of the early 70’s like Carole King or the white soul of Laura Nyro. With finely-honed lyrics, forceful melodies, jazz voicings and elegant, minimalist arrangements, birdpaula bestows on this modern and upbeat album all the coherence of her rich personality.

Alpha founded in 1995 in Bristol, 
Many Alpha fan’s had not even been born yet when Mushroom of Massive Attack heard some early tracks and was so impressed he made them the first signing to Massive Attacks label melancholic/Virgin in 1996. Shortly after Alpha was tagged ‘The Best kept secret’ because Prince, Robert Plant, Chris Martin, Madonna and Thom Yorke to name a few were all Fans.  Fortunate for us but not for Alpha their determination to create the perfect Album pushed a further 14 releases bringing us up to the latest release ‘Failure’ but this album is far from it.  You may not be aware of Alpha but they influence other artists and music supervisors  including recent placements in ‘Big Little Lies’ and Guerlain Perfume campaigns. Alpha have never settled with one singer, passed collaborations include Daddy G, Horace Andy and Kelvin Swaby who then formed the success of ‘The Heavy’. 
Alpha are now working on the 15th album with singer Hannah Collins who featured on the pervious album ‘Eleventh Trip’ to be premiered at Romaria Cultural  in Gouveia, Guarda, Portugal on the 30/07/2022
