From 1998 onwards Alex Cortiz has produced more than 30 albums of deep vibin’ grooves with elements of chill out, nu jazz, cinematic dub, soulful blaxploitation and chilled- and deep house. 
He became one of the leading producers in groovy relax and funky chill out. Often he has been linked to Kruder & Dorfmeister, Air, Nor Elle, Audio Lotion, Dj Cam, Session Victim, Zap, Dazz, Ron Basejam, Solee and lately Nils Frahm.

To dig a bit deeper into the musical carreer of Alex Cortiz... His roots in international dance music go back to 1990, when he produced one of the first worldwide techno club hits as D-Shake with Yaaah / Technotrance. After that he was succesful with a.o. Paradise 3001 (ambient techno) and Flygang (disco) And then, after that… producer / dj Alex Cortiz took over.

Kinky Movement, formed in 1997 by friends in Nottingham passionate about house music, began hosting events at venues like the Sky Club (later Blueprint), The Bomb, Dubble Bubble, and The Edge. Members Andrew McLoughlin, Lee Eden, and John Symms transitioned into music production, releasing their first track in 2004 on Tango Records. Since then, they’ve produced over 300 tracks and remixes across more than 50 labels, including Salted Music, Large Music, Swing City, Drop Music, King Street, Jalapeño, and Erase. Their extensive discography has led to performances in over 20 countries, including Australia, the US, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, Bulgaria, Belgium, Georgia, and Ukraine. Their music has been licensed to Armada Music and Hed Kandi compilations and featured on BBC Radio 1 Extra by Monki. With new releases planned for 2025 on their label Replay Recordings and others, Kinky Movement continues to thrive in the house music scene.

Rowetta was a massive hit and quickly became a Summer anthem gaining support from Calvin Harris, Mau P, James Hype, Loco Dice, Nora En Pure, Sonny Fodera, Claptone, Seth Troxler, Kenny Dope and many more. His work also gained recognition from Billboard, Mixmag, DJ Mag, Dancing Astronaut, Insomniac & Complex. GRECO has performed at EDC Vegas, Imagine Music Festival & Elements Music Festival. Rawsome Deep, his most recent label, earned several #1 records on Beatport & was showcased on their livestream reaching over 100,000 viewers worldwide. Rawsome has hosted its own label events during ADE for the past 5 years, an annual Summer boat party in New York City and currently hosts its own stage at OMF20XX each year. With early success and a string of exciting releases scheduled for 2024, DR. GRECO continues to push the boundaries of dance music into the future, all while preserving the roots of the underground.
