I make music that will hopefully change someone's life.

Carlton L. Winston (b. 1990) is a composer born and raised in Columbus, OH. Carlton's sound mixes the cinematic mastery of Jóhann Jóhannsson, Terence Blanchard and Shirō Sagisu with the intoxicating grooves of clipping., Kendrick Lamar and R.A.P. Ferreira. "It was Carlton's music that really captured the imagination of both our players and the audience" says New York conductor and composer Kevin Scott. Carlton's music has garnered the attention of Spitfire Audio who commissioned him to compose a demo track for their library Spitfire Symphonic Motions. Carlton has been composing music since his senior year of high school and he briefly studied music education and music composition at Ohio University before leaving after his first year to pursue his own path into the world of music. Carlton is a member of ASCAP and is currently accepting commissions.
