Having introduced acts like Theo Kottis, Luttrell and Tontario to the label since launching in early 2016, the Explorations series returns for the third time, welcoming four new artists to Anjunadeep.

Opening the EP is Belgian producer Compuphonic, who has made a name for himself over the past decade with popular releases on Exploited, Get Physical and Turbo. ‘Island Flutter’ sees him at his melodic best, weaving arpeggiated melodies around a warm textured groove.

French duo and Traum Schallplatten affiliates Antoine Rigail and Fabien Garcia a.k.a We Need Cracks debut with ‘Blue Danube’, a favourite from last years iTunes #1 compilation ‘Anjunadeep 08’ where it was reworked by mixers James Grant & Jody Wisternoff themselves.

Russian talent Modd delivers a stripped back dancefloor moment in ‘Inki’, an intricate blend of delicate soundscapes and subtle melodies.

Closing the EP are UK duo Fluida, fresh from a string of acclaimed releases on Fatboy Slim’s Southern Fried imprint. ‘Not Alone’ showcases their impressive multi-instrumentation alongside deft vocals and trademark hangdrum sounds.

Following a statement Anjunadeep debut with 2016's 'Over Clouds' EP, Germany's Koelle makes a welcome return to the label with four track EP 'Another Land'. 

First up title track and emotive deep cut 'Another Land'; a familiar moment from the label's recent iTunes dance #1 album 'Anjunadeep 08', given a special Deep 08 edit by Anjuna stalwart Jody Wisternoff and label boss James Grant; also featuring as the closing track on the package. Maintaining the momentum, another Deep 08 favourite, textured percussive cut 'Last Words'. Lastly, 'The Void', a quirky melodic groover layering delicate keys and vocal chants alongside a chugging bassline groove.

Handpicked by curators Jody Wisternoff & James Grant, parts 1 & 2 of the Anjunadeep 10 Sampler collectively boast a line-up of the label’s freshest talent, featuring seven memorable moments from this year’s flagship ‘Anjunadeep 10’ compilation. Part 2 plays host to Anjuna debutants Ocula and GRAZZE, and warmly welcomes the return of Ole Biege and Lycoriscoris.. 

Kicking things off is Japan’s Lycoriscoris with his beautifully meditative ‘Belong’, followed by the mellow and melodic ‘Immunity’ by prodigious British debutant Ocula.  A warm embrace of bold chord progressions and luscious vocal sampling, next up is James & Jody’s remix of Ole Biege’s 'All The Time’, whilst closing out the release is the exotic ‘Querencia’ by prolific Spanish producer and Anjunadeep debutant, GRAZZE.

In their ‘Things That Matter’ remix, James and Jody weave the vocals of Louise & Sharin Foo through a warm melodic arrangement reminiscent of the uplifting house sound of the 2000s, whilst their take on ‘Autumn Feathers’ features a slightly more minimalistic sound with an orchestral influence.

After a year-long hiatus, Cubicolor proudly announce their newest single ‘Points Beyond’, lifted from their upcoming sophomore album ‘Hardly A Day, Hardly A Night’. Blurring the organic and electronic divide with their introspective sound, Cubicolor’s 2016 debut album ‘Brainsugar’ saw praise by Mixmag, Spin, and Clash, and garnered support from a host of heavyweight DJs including Pete Tong, Joris Voorn, and Kölsch. Pairing somber piano chords with a hard-hitting drumbeat, Jerro reflects Kauf's introspective vocals as he expresses the difficult feelings of obsession and anxiety in a relationship. In his up-tempo reimagining, Durante pairs the original melancholic lyrics with bright plucked synths and energetic percussion.
