Raven & Kreyn explore a distinctly urban soundscape with their dark and intense “Long Game” on Gregori Klosman’s Guru imprint. Sinking into gritty, underground textures with both swagger and focus, they unleash a track that bristles with the energy of the street and the power of the club.

Built around distorted swabs of bass that tumble over grime-influenced vocals, the track has a clear London-centric flavor. The beats are tough and are joined later by some classic sounding breaks, which infuse the track with an authentic, old school energy. The pair manage to sew in a sense of funk into the track by by adding warm pads, melodic bass lines and subtle flashes of guitar. Futuristic by projected through a nostalgic haze, “Long Game” has a unique spirit that brightens up the underground.
