Courtney P.Townsend known as  the artist D.A.D.C.E.E was born at  Jubilee Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica . Each letter in D.A.D.C.E.E. name  represents the 6 of the 12 children Born to Hector and Velma Townsend who did not make it last try however was a success D.A.D. C.E.E. had arrived . He was always singing as far back as he can remember to Church Hyms and to Country Music that his dad loved so much. His unique sound of Dancehall Reggae with Hip Hop beats powerful voice and hard hitting lyrics is what sets him apart from the rest of the Reggae artists out there to today.


Heavily influenced as a youth growing up in Jamaica by such Artists as Bob Marley, Yellow  Man,and Peter Tosh just to name a few. After coming to the States his influences included RnB,POP, Rap at the Top singer Micheal Jackson , Dougie B Fresh , Slick Rick, N.W.A. and Tupac, EPMD, KRS1, Getto Boys,. All of these an many more played a big part in shaping D.A.D.C.E.E the artist. Music has always been a big part of his life and to date its still flowing through his veins.

 After a brief stay in Baltimore , Maryland , He knew he wanted to head to the West Coast to California to pursue basketball dreams , But music was always calling his name. David Townsend one of D.A.D.C.E.E.'s older brothers was always telling him from about age 15 you should be doing music. So he turned back to his love of music in the late 90's and is still at it to this day.

 While out in California he worked with OG's in the game Producer Big Ghost from I.B.S ., collabortions with Jack Nast , Revelations, Curt Diggs, Allie Jaws , Sheldizzle and the rest of the Max Mob . Even was with group Unda Dog Vetz 2007 -08 with Sid Loco and Kenny Mac, also Bangola Artis BABELOC,  plus many more as the list continues to grow and request for collabs remains in demand.

 Hearing the Buzz on the Atlanta , Georgia music scene he headed south . Joining forces with Producer Reggie Rock . Where  he created self titled album " D.A.D.C.E.E."

The album " D.A.D.C.E.E." is a masterful blend of Dancehall Reggae with hip hop beats. Creating at big stir from local clubs and bars from Atlanta to California with hit songs "Fiyah" , Celebrating Life , Satisfy You, Sweet and Suffering.
 Also on this mega  packed hard hitting album is collaboration with Dancehall Celebrity ( E-Dee) Everton Dennis from the Movie "Out the Gate"  "Bad like We" is also on this self titled album as  well. 
 Other great collaborations since landing down south have been with Rap artist such as Tony Artiste , Jay Varsity, Alaska Rap artist Blackk bottom, Underground Railroad which consists of Blamnation, Jae Crue , Reggae Artists No Phear.
Hot new single  to be released in 2013 with Producer / artist Jay Varcity that is sure to take the Air Waves  by storm.

 D.A.D.C.E.E. Movement is the company name , while D.A.D.C.E.E. is the artist stage name . Making the D.A.D.C.E.E. name and logo a household name with a clothing line, bigger and better albums and Growing of his brand and business  is whats in store for this Artist future.

D.A.D.C.E.E. is currently at the Top of the Charts in his genre on site's such as Reverbnation.com and has held or may still be number the #1spot. You can also find D.A.D.C.E.E. at the TOP of the charts on Indiecharts.com at #1 and #2 in the Reggae category and has held those positions for 3 years now. He has been nominated  Reggae / Soca Artist of the year 2013 with Atlanta's Underground music Awards. 

 D.A.D.C.E.E. has worked as a Certified Communications Tech. While perfecting his craft as a Singer , Song Writer and Reggae Performer.


He has been asked if he could work with any artists out there today who would it be ?Sizzla,Capleton,Movado Buster Rhyms, Jamie Foxx, Mike Will , T.I . , Ice cube and Snoop Dog.
