Für den Frieden

Krieg, unabhängig von seiner spezifischen Form oder seinem Austragungsort, schadet in erster Linie den betroffenen Bürgerinnen und Bürgern. Menschen, die Tag ein Tag aus ihren Beschäftigungen nachgehen, sich um Freunde und die Familie kümmern, ihren Wünschen, Träumen und Zielen nachgehen, finden sich auf einmal in einer unwirklichen Realität von Leid, Kummer und Zerstörung wieder. Für sie alle bricht eine Welt zusammen und zwar ihre Welt, vor ihren Augen. 
Und für wen oder was? 
Geht es hierbei primär um ihr Wohl oder um die Macht- und Interessenkonflikte geostrategisch agierender Akteure? Sind sie am Ende nur ein blutiges Werkzeug und werden für politische und wirtschaftliche Ziele dahingerafft?
Wer kann das schon mit Sicherheit sagen, denn das erste Opfer eines Krieges ist immer die Wahrheit. Deshalb erfordert Frieden Wachsamkeit und einen kühlen Kopf. Wir alle sollten uns mehr denn je darum bemühen, in unserer Mitte zu bleiben. Wir brauchen Verständnis für die unterschiedlichen Perspektiven der Betroffenen, denn die Welt ist nie schwarz-weiß, sondern ein Sammelsurium von Graustufen. Schlussendlich sind wir alle Menschen und leben gemeinsam auf diesem einen Planeten. Lasst uns das Beste aus der Zeit machen, die uns für diese Welt geschenkt ist. Leben für den Frieden statt sterben für den Krieg. 

Heute haben wir das 10 Mark DJ Team, aus Berlin auf KataHaifisch zu Gast. Dieses Konglomerat musikalischer Schaffensfreude steht nicht erst seit gestern an den Decks. Bereits im Jahr 2016 beehrten sie das Fusion Festival mit einem Gig in der Räuberhöhle. Über die Jahre hinweg bespielten sie Clubs und Festivals in ganz Deutschland und auch im europäischen Ausland. Ihre Podcasts und Sets sind ausgefallen und stellenweise flippig. Es handelt sich um rundum gute Laune Musik. Dieser Podcast macht Hoffnung auf gute und unbeschwerte Zeiten.

So here is a little tale:

6 years ago, a young Bruna walked into KATERBLAU for the first time; she had discovered Berlin and was starting to DJ.
The night was full of incredible DJs and of course, Sascha Cawa was one of the headliners. 
I remember looking at the dance floor and thinking to myself. “ one day I will play in this club”
Exactly 6 years later, after a lot of work and journeys through many genres of music, I got invited by Sascha Cawa himself to play for his 50th bday, CAWA LA VISTA at Acid Bogen, taking over from the master Britta Arnold whom I admired for years. 
Although I freaked out to death and prepared for a month, the dance floor and the people were the main act of the night. 
I had no idea what I played until I listened to the recording. 
What a journey. 
Playing from 7 to 10 am to a beautiful audience and realizing that most of the people stayed from beginning to end. 
I am so thankful and so touched. 
I hope this set translates my passion from that night, enjoy.

If you were to ask, DADADISCO wouldn't name a single specific source of their inspiration. These two french gourmands take in and digest pretty much everything, from hard rocks and heavy metals to synthetics and ambience... That means you can expect anything from Denis and Guillaume but cliché. Design, art, cinema and fashion are just as important to them as music. And it all comes through in their sets. 
These gents are very much the products of the "promiscuous and omnivorous" disco mayhem, forever imprinted in the collective memory of club culture as Bar25. It was through this jolly demonic mill, fumes and flames, thick and thin, that this combo blazed their way onto Berlin's raucous music scene. Veritable performers, their epic endless sets were somewhat of a cross between music and circus.
When it closed for good, DADADISCO went global, spreading their retro-futuristic sound along with their overtly surrealist attitude. "Dada" in their name refers, of course, to a movement that in the mid-20th century famously repudiated and mocked all sorts of artistic conventions while emphasising the illogical and absurd. DADADISCO keeps experimenting with genres and influences to discover and deliver their own unique blend of sexy electronica, always favouring spontaneity over etiquette. The name sticks on all of these counts.
