No balance beam, no safety net, just complete mastery. The EP kicks off with key cut Thatch; it swings and wiggles before developing a feel good vibe that will leave you wanting more. In a similar vein, if every so slightly more noir-ish and downbeat, French Quarter exudes introverted atmosphere thanks to the wistful muted piano, merging light and dark simultaneously in one continuous movement.
