'The mighty Weekend Heroes join Sprout for their debut with a double header of epic proportions - Strive EP. 

Over the past decade, Zombi and Timelock, aka Weekend Hereos have amassed a healthy back catalogue with music signed to everyone from Global Underground to Toolroom. Their trademark style has won them many plaudits opening them up to working with some huge names including Jerome Isme-Ae, Paul Thomas and Wally Lopez. 

Opening with ‘Strive’ featuring the vocal talents of Miper, we are quickly transported into the duos unique sonic playground as tribal rhythms mix with eerie FX and growling bass notes. Building a head of steam to the main break, Miper’s sultry whispers are amplified in a subtle sea of reverb. Teaming up with Or Kopel, ‘Wild East’ is equally ethereal. Taking a more tech route initially, the melodics soon create a new tension with exciting results. Becoming more epic towards the break, there’s little time for a breath as the intensity is ramped up again, ending with a monstrous final act.'

The closer they come the harder they hit. Step by step, beat by beat ZEHN's Elements continue their voyage towards the blue planet.

Will we get lost on board of the deep-space rocket that is Abstraal's and Olffmann's „Falling With Her"? We might. We might lose ourselves in Eleonora's soothing yet fatalistic vocals on There Was No Time's „Not Coming Back". But maybe we can withstand for a while. Maybe. Sonia Choo - „Keep Moving On" leads us further and further down the path - to oblivion. Particles are shaken by the enormous „Solar" eruption caused by Alex Breitling. Suddenly, it gets quiet for a while. Nothing matters anymore, apart from this particular moment as Rafa Silva's „Quid Pro Quo" hails in the dark. We enter Jakob Reiters „Strato". It is hypnotic up here. But we are woken up yet again, only to be catapulted even further by Melum's „Space For Me". New dimensions open up.  Will we get lost? Probably, we will. In the best way possible, though.

There Was No Time - Not Coming Back Ft.Eleonora (Original Mix)

Our second reference for 2021 comes from a great friend of us, Oscar L. Having released tracks by labels such as Drumcode or Truesoul among many others including Beatfreak Recordings, he returns to the label this time with a collaboration with our label boss D-Formation. A collaboration that undoubtedly shows the taste of both and that will surely make all lovers of good music enjoy. On a remix duty we also have one of the producers who we like the most at the moment. Hollt from Netherlands brings us his characteristic sound that makes a perfect complement to this release, melodic techno in its purest form
